Cayo Perico Heist Guide

Cayo Perico Heist Guide
Hello There,
with the Cayo Perico Heist being some days old already, I feel like I've gained enough experience to share my method of doing it as fast as I can with you. I'll only cover the missions neccessary for this method and approach, as covering every mission would turn this into a novel.
With this approach, you're looking at $~1,3m every 1:00-1:30hrs, depending on how well the finale goes. Ironically, you get a higher payout when playing solo. Some pretty effective solo grinding.

1. Preperations

Right, so what do you need to grind the Cayo Perico Heist? Not a lot, surprisingly. Obviously you'll need a Kosatka, however, all the extra additions like sonar or missiles are not needed. However, the onboard Sparrow is insanely useful, it's easily worth spending the $2,1m to buy it and upgrade it with homing rockets, you'll get the money back in 1-2 heists anyway. If you get the Sparrow, you can forget about all other vehicles like other Helis, Oppressors or jets, the Sparrow is all you'll ever need.
About the position of the Kosatka, I'd try to leave it at Vespucci Beach, however, you can and probably will use it to fast travel to far away locations for missions.
After starting a mission, turn around from the heist screen and hop directly into your Sparrow (except if you want to fast travel first). When returning from a mission, feel free to jump out of the Sparrow and parachute to the sub, you won't have to pay any insurance and the Sparrow will instantly be returned to the Kosatka, ready to be used for the next mission.
Additionally, a saved outfit with a scuba suit is also useful for some prep missions.

2. Prep missions

2.1 Gather Intel
The most lengthy mission. If you've already completed the heist as a leader, you'll have to steal a Velum to fly directly to Cayo Perico. This is where the fast travel of the Kosatka comes in useful. After flying off with the Velum, don't forget to return your Kosatka to storage so you can call it back later when returning.
Now, what do you actually need to find? Luckily, all the random POI are not needed at all (Uniforms, Grappling Hooks, Bolt Cutters). I'm sure you've seen this post with the map of all the intel. Surprisingly, all you need to photograph is these fours spots, one of them being the sewage tunnel underwater, which only has to be scouted once, you won't have to scout it every heist.
For the mission itself, just grab the nearest bike and jump over the hill on the left side of the checkpoint next to the party and drive to the comms tower. There, hack the security box (box can spawn on ground floor or on one of the 3 tower levels). The hack is fairly complicated, however you can use your training keypad in your Arcade to get familiar with it, you'll have more than enough time at the tower to figure it out anyway.
If playing solo, just scope out the main reward and move on to scouting the main docks for additional loot to fill you bags, as you will not be able to open the houses inside the compound for the loot there as they require 2 keycards simultaneously.
At the main docks, scope out the 2 places for additional loot and then let yourself be caught by the guards to be thrown back to the airport instantly and leave. Thats it, no more intel neccessary, only takes you about 15 minutes.
2.2 Kosatka
For the approach vehicle, you'll want to use your Kosatka, so start the mission, fast travel to the mission and use your Sparrow to deal with the Heli + 3 boats. You can then just dump your heli in the water and request a Dinghy to drive back to the Kosatka to save you the hassle of landing the heli and swimming to the sub.
Inside the sub, go right down the hatch and fight through the lower deck until you find the device, leave up throught the hatch ladder and leave the sub.
Outside, hop into a Dinghy and drive back to your Kosatka and the mission is done.
2.3 Cutting torch
Only 3 of the 4 equipment preps are mandatory, you can completely ignore the explosives as you will be using the cutting torch for any locks you encounter.
The mission is very simple, fast travel back to Vespucci beach, fly to the construction site, either kill everyone and grab the drill or do it sneaky and fly back to the Kosatka, nothing huge here.
2.4 Fingerprint cloner
Another pretty simple mission, fly to the warehouse, go in and be prepared to fight instantly, its unneccessary to cut the power, the guards will spot you insantly anyways. Then hack the computer, fly to the Archives, shoot the 2 cameras, get the cloner, fly back to the sub, done.
2.5 Safe codes / plasma cutter
This mission depends on the main loot, you either have to go to the casino, kill a lot of people and greab some codes off the head of security, no major ways to improve here other than to shoot, as this can't be done in stealth reliably either, and fly back to the sub.
For the plasma cutters, (Actually can't remember the mission right now, must not have been hard then, just do the usual Sparrow, pewpew, grab, Sparrow stuff)
2.6 Weapons
FOr weapon loadouts, you have multiple choices, I suggest either going for the Conspirator or AP Pistol loadouts, they are both very viable and neither has a distinct advantage, use whichever you prefer.
This mission has 2 variants, you either just do the usual "Land on office, enter office, shoot guys, hack computer, get weapons, return to sub" stuff, or you'll have to follow a Merryweather heli, kill some goons, enter an Avenger, get the weapons, jump out of the Avenger and fly back to the sub. Both aren't that hard or complicated, just some standard "get this stuff" missions.
Do not forget to buy supressors for your weapons, they're only $5k
2.7 Armor
For the 3 optional preps, you only need to do the armor, as the other 2 are only beneficial for going loud, which we won't do.
Again, pretty simple stuff, fly to a warehouse, blow up stuff, blow up more stuff inside the warehouse, blow up a boat, done. The Sparrow is absolutely your best friend for these kind of missions, just beware that is lacks any sort of armor, so when taking off you may get shot a bit too much at times.

3. Finale

Right, finale ,big money. Here's how the planning screen should look
Haven't tested other times of day, but night is the obvious choice for stealth
WHen the mission starts, you'll be instantly thrown underwater, right next to the compound. Just dive to the sewage tunnel, cuzt the grate and boom, you're in.
Inside, try to deal with all the guards before going upstairs to the office elevator. Standard stealth rules apply, kill guards outside of camera view, kill facing guards in quick succession with well placed headshots (not headshotting can cause the alarm to go off ~3s after bodyshotting them to death). Chances are, you will fail the first couple of tries until you get a feel for it. Here's the path I use:

Looks complicated, but you'll get used to it
When reaching the vault room, you cutting torch can make quick work of the lock, then grab the main loot and get out via the exit to the right of the main vault, turn right again and you're basically next to the compound gate. Just confirm that route and you're out.
Once you're out, there will be 4 guards to deal with, not a huge issue, kill them and move on. There are bikes by the checkpoint, grab one and leave.
Once you are outside the compound, a heli will be sent to search you. Have a look at what direction it flies, it will always fly straight until reaching the end of the island. Evade him once and you're good for 5-10 minutes, plenty of time to leave.

Path outside the compound, at green circle, evade helicopter
Drive to the docks, careful of the guards that only appear on the map once you're close to them, luckily at this point you're free to kill anyone you meet, so blast away. Grab the 2 warehouses worth of secondary loot, kill the guards by the docks and leave, even if you get spotted now, just make a dash for the open sea and get as far away from the island as possible until the mission finishes and you're done, $1,3m reward.

And that's it, pretty simple heist, finale is made super easy by the sewage tunnel and the prep missions are already easy as piss

Casino Heist Guide, what you need to know and other features

AS OF NOW I WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATING THIS GUIDE
I’ll start by going in order of missions and adding extras as needed by editing the TBA (to be added) as soon as I can review the information
Leave any information you can in the comments fill in and I’ll add it in when I can
——The Scope Out——
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: About 10 minutes
Description: the player must scope out as many points of interest if the can for the most options
Miscellaneous:
Vallet Security guard Purple keypad Inside (dome) camera Outside (box) camera Vault Blueprints (in mrs bakers office)(requires casino penthouse, or a friend with said penthouse)
Access points:
Ground (3)
Main entrance (west) Waste disposal (north) Staff lobby (east)
Roof terrace (4)
2 doors on the north side 2 doors on the east side
Roof (2)
North helipad South helipad
Underground (2)
Security tunnel (under dirt track) Sewer (the drainage ditch by the casino, there’s an entrance at the beginning of it, head down until you see some metal bars that would lead under the casino)
-important notes-
Once you have discovered every point of interest available in this setup, you won’t be able to do this setup for other heist because all poi’s are now permanently unlocked
——Vault contents ——
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: about 5 minutes
Description: You are trying to find your target, the valuables you’ll be stealing during the heist To start this setup, you hack a guards phone to get into the casino’s system and then enter the casino to walk around and find a strong enough signal for Lester to hack into the cameras BE SURE YOU FULLY ROTATE ALL 6 CAMERAS TO THE TO UNLOCK THE REST OF THE POI’S, if already unlocked all poi’s just skip to the vault camera.
When scouting out the target it is completely random chance what you will be stealing from the casino
Cash is the basic takes and take a while to grab, but it can still pay about 2.1million Normal and 2.4million Hard total (minus crew cuts)
Paintings have better value and are the quickest to grab, to get them you must cut out the paintings but again this is really fast so you might be able to get a cheaper hacker or spend the extra time grabbing lock boxes, with this take you can make about ??million Normal and 2.7million Hard (minus crew cuts)
Gold has great value, it takes time to grab just like cash but is also a lot heavier, this means you can no longer jump but the reward is worth it because it can pay about ??million Normal and 2.8million Hard (minus crew cuts)
There’s also a glitch to get a lot more gold off one tray so abuse it before it gets patched
Diamonds have the greatest value and have just been officially added to the loot pool, you grab trays of diamonds like you would cash or gold and they are worth about ??million Normal and ??million Hard (minus crew cuts)
———Crew members and Characters———
These are free mode missions and secrets that can affect the casino heist by giving access to new characters and crew
There is also the standard crew for comparison
——Optional Characters——
Yung Ancestor
Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 2 minutes
Effect: adds another route to “The Big Con” Description: Head to the casino and go up to the roof terrace to enter a cutscene with the celebrity, afterwards Lester will contact him to ask if he would like to be involved with the job, a few minutes later you will get a call from Yung Ancestor saying he will help but needs a few favors to trust you

the way to go about this is just to shoot the van enough and it will eventually stop, allowing you to steal it and bring it to Packie’s safe house at Vespucci beach,
Notes: there is a 5 minute time limit that begins when you enter the van
Packie has the best weapon selection in aggressive but this does not outweigh how much he cost this is player choice

——Approaches——
It’s recommended to have 3 or 4 players for the best take
—SILENT AND SNEAKY—
Stealth difficulty: Hard
Loud Difficulty: Medium-Hard
Time: 15-20 minutes (minus restarts)
Description: Silent and sneaky is one of the stealth approaches, you go inside with tactical gear, night vision, suppressed weapons, tasers, and an emp bomb (if the setup is complete) that the host can activate (explained below) This hiest allows you to slip in undetected and you can still slip out undetected.
-Things to note-
When you enter the vault you will have a certain amount of time depending on your hacker and whether or not you are detected by the time you arrive to the vault, if you fail to leave the vault before the timer hits “0” gas will fill the vault and the alarm will trigger
Guards will be alerted to the following: seeing you, shooting a guard without a headshot (they yell), killing a guard next to another, a dead body, a bullet flying past them, a bullet hitting a wall, a guard watching you destroy a camera, and hearing unsuppressed gunfire
The casino will raise the alarm for the following: a guard being alerted, a camera spotting you, a camera spotting a dead body destroying more then one camera, and not leaving the vault before the clock hits “0”
Guards are oblivious to the following: getting a headshot or stealth melee even if the guard yells, destroyed cameras, the sound of broken glass, and the sight of broken glass
You can disable cameras with the taser, but they will come back online, you can also shoot and destroy one camera but destroy any more and the alarm will sound
If the host completed the EMP setup, they will have access to a phone app named “Detonate EMP” this will set off the EMP of course knocking out all electricity for about 1-2 minutes, this includes: cameras, locked doors, elevators, and lights (this will make guards have a really small cone of vision)
-Important notes-
Triggering the EMP does not raise the alarm (credit goes to u/Aleapp2556 for discovering this)
Not breaking stealth until outside will give an award
You can restart the heist at anytime by running out of lives
-Best plan of attack-
Enter the south helipad
Exit the staff lobby
High level buyer
Decoy driver (optional, lowers how many stars you have)
-Steps-
Enter the cargobob
Parachute to the casino
Rappel down the elevator shaft
(You are now in the staff lobby)
Take out everyone quietly
Proceed to elevator
(You are now at vault security)
Take out the remaining guards quietly
Enter the mantrap
Drill open the vault
(You are now in the vault and the timer has started)
Grab as much loot as possible, Dedicate one person to hacking
Leave before the timer ends
Exit the mantrap
Take the elevator or stairs up
(Alarm is now raised, but you are still undetected)
Take out the remaining guards and exit through the staff lobby
Get in the getaway car
Race to Paleto Bay
Escape the cops
Finish the heist
-Overall-
the hiest is slow and very difficult so this may not be the best option for grinding
—AGGRESSIVE—
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 8-11 minutes (minus restarts)
Aggressive is loud and violent, you shoot your way to the vault, blow it open, melt open the gates and steal the loot
-Things to note-
This heist is extremely fast compared to the other two approaches, it can be and has been done in under 9 minutes with high level buyers
there are no drills or hack in the vault itself, just explosives and thermal charges
You can restart the heist at anytime by running out of lives
-Best plan of attack-
Enter sewer(you blow a hole right into the security-room just before the mantrap leading to the vault)
Exit staff lobby
High level buyers
Gunner decoy (optional, but lowers your stars)
-Steps-
Blow into the vault security room from the sewers
(You are now in the vault security room)
Enter the man trap
Blow open the vault
(You are now in the vault)
Set off a thermal before you start grabbing and try to just get everything you can
Exit the vault
Exit the mantrap
Go to the staff lobby via elevator
Exit staff lobby
(At this point stealth no longer matters)
Enter getaway cars
Race to paleto bay
Escape police
Finish heist
-Overall-
this heist is fast and effective and I recommend cycling between both this and the big con
—THE BIG CON—
Stealth Difficulty: Easy or Medium-Hard (depends on route)
Loud difficultly: Hard
Time: 10-13 minutes (minus restarts)
The Big Con is the another stealth approach, but it’s less stealth and more lies and deceit, you use disguises to get your way into the casino with all your tools and equipment needed for the job
-Important things to note-
You only have a ceramic pistol unless you pick up your stashed weapons, but if you pick up those weapons you can no longer pass through metal detectors
Your weapons are not suppressed
Gruppe sechs can get inside the vault no problem
You unlock the ceramic pistol after you are done HOSTING The Big Con
Not breaking disguise until outside will give an award
You can restart the heist at anytime by running out of lives
-Best plan of attack-
Enter Gruppe sechs disguises
Exit noose disguises
Enter security tunnel
Exit staff lobby
High level buyer
Gunner decoy (lowers stars, only helpful if you are actually caught)
-steps-
Enter the security tunnel as gruppe sechs
Park the van
Get into the elevator
(You are now in the vault security room)
Walk on by the guards
Enter the man trap
A lone guard lets you into the vault, you knock him out
(You are now in the vault)
Grab the loot, mind the hacking, one mess up and the alarm goes off
Exit the vault
exit the mantrap
Take the stairs
(Alarm is raised but no one knows where you are)
Take the route to the laundry room
Change outfits
Exit staff lobby NOT MAIN ENTRANCE
(At this point stealth no longer matters)
Get to getaway vehicles
Race to paleto bay
Escape cops
Finish heist
-Overall-
this heist is very clean and quick if you do it right, id recommend doing this and aggressive if you really want to grind it
——About undetected——
When you sneak into the vault undetected you gain bonus time to grab even more loot then you would if the alarm was raised, failure to leave the vault before the gas is released will raise the alarm;
but you still received the bonus time to grab the loot anyhow, so it’s all up to you to either get the extra few lootables or make a clean getaway
——Hard Mode——
Hard mode (just like in normal heist) gives bigger cut with less lives, but this also buffs the security of the place
The way you access hard mode is by playing through a heist (we’ll say aggressive) and then the next (the big con), after playing aggressive it will become locked and unplayable so you have to pick another approach like big con, after that heist is done aggressive will unlock but it will still be “too hot” this is hard mode and will give a bigger cut for a harder heist that’s why it’s best to cycle between both aggressive and big con
——Heist crew——
For the best take each time you need to select the perfect members for the job
-Gunner-
Cheapest gunner all the way avoid shotguns
-Drivers-
If you want more money chose the cheapest driver and pick the sentinel classic, but if you want the trade prices for all the new vehicles you’ll need to use them during a heist
-Hacker-
Now unlike the other two, an expensive hacker is necessary for this job, this person will provide you with more time in the vault, this is where Paige and Avi come in handy
——Setups——
Setups are needed to find the materials necessary to pull off this job, some are mandatory and you cannot start the job with out them, some are optional and can be avoided but also can be the difference between dealing with a few enemies or a few mini-juggernauts
-Weapons- Need: Mandatory

Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5 minutes
Description: the player(s) go to a location being investigated by the FIB, the player(s) need to kill the FIB agents
Important notes
You can be in a guards vision but not for too long
Once you have the device and take the elevator down the guards will begin to shoot you
-Vault key cards-

Time: 2-5 minutes
Description: the player(s) need to go to a parking lot where security guards have gathered, the player(s) will be looking for a car with a certain license plate that Lester will send, Once the player(s) find the car, they will need to open the trunk, take a picture, and send it to Lester
Important notes
This mission can be done by stealth
The car is always a black or light brown Falon GT convertible
-Dugan shipments-
Need: Optional
Usefulness for all heist: Absolutely Required
Difficulty: Medium
Time: less then 10 minutes
Description: The player(s) go around all of San Andreas to destroy 10 security shipments for the casino’s guards (this includes vans, boats, and helicopters)
Effect: for every couple of shipment destroyed, the guards armor will become weaker
No shipments destroy: every guard will have the health of a Cliffford Cyborg juggernaut
7 shipments destroyed: Health of a NOOSE squad member
10 shipments destroyed: Heath of a cop with body armor (3 Star wanted level officer)
Important notes
It is recommended to have 2 players in weaponized vehicles to destroy all the shipments
-Security Intel-
Need: Optional
Usefulness for Sneaky and Silent: Needed
Usefulness for Aggressive: not necessary
Usefulness for The Big Con: Helpful
Difficulty: N/A
Time: N/A

Effect: allows players to know the locations and vision of all cameras in the casino
Important notes
Once this setup is completed once it will be completed permanently
-Power drills-
Need: optional
Usefulness for all heist: Player’s choice but not necessary
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5-8 minutes
Description: the player must steal power drills from a construction site by stealing a van and delivering it to the arcade
Effect: Gives the ability to drill open safety deposit boxes for a little bonus money (does not outweigh the main target in value)
Important notes
These missions can be completed by using non lethal tactics
-Security key cards-
Need: optional
Usefulness for all heist: absolutely required
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 5-8 minutes
Description: the player must steal a security key card from a casino staff member
Effect Card Level 1: has the ability to give you access to few doors and access points, but nothing else in the higher security areas, those points will need to be hacked
Effect Card Level 2: gives player full access to all casino doors and elevators other then those in the vault
(A level 2 keycard is highly recommend and should be used in every single heist)
——Approach specific setups——
Some setups are specific to certain approaches and can be mandatory or optional
—Silent and Sneaky Setups—
-Vault Laser Drills-
Need: Mandatory
Difficulty: TBA
Time: TBA
Description: the player(s) need to steal 2 military grade laser drills to drill open the vault door
-TBA-
-TBA-
-EMP-
Need: optional
Usefulness: helpful
The player uses a cargo bob to carefully steal a EMP bomb and deliver it to the power station just across the road from the casino
Effect: give the host the ability to call the EMP to detonate it, this will shut down all electronics and lights for 1-2minutes, this mean cameras, locked doors, and metal detectors will be shut off during this time, and since the lights are off the guards have limited visibility, about 1 foot of vision in front of them
Important notes
Triggering the EMP does not raise the alarm (credit goes to u/Aleapp2556 for discovering this)
—Aggressive Setups—
-Vault explosives-
Need: Mandatory
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
Time: 8-18 minutes
Description: the player(s) must travel to a part of the ocean to steal explosives from an underwater mining operation to blow open the vault door

-Boaring machine-
Need: Optional
Usefulness: TBA
Difficulty: Easy
Time: TBA
Description: The player steals a drilling machine from a driver hauling the machine
Effect: TBA
—The Big Con Setups—
-Drills-
-Disguises-
-TBA-
——Phase 1 equipment——
On the phase 1 planning board you can buy equipment for finding points of interest or practice on mini-game type puzzle you need to complete while going to or when you reach the vault, you can buy equipment such as:
a model of the casino for $130,000 (Which shows points of interest)
A replica of the casinos security system for $425,000 (for practice with hacking)
And a replica vault door for $900,000 (for practice with drilling)
By taking photos of the security system and vault blueprints in the casino you unlock the option to buy the security system and vault door for practice
Once the equipment is purchased, it will stay permanently in your arcades basement
In order to practice you will need the vault drills (explosives do not count) and/or the hacking device
These items will need to be sourced each time you start a new heist if you wish to practice
My personal recommendation is to avoid this equipment as it’s price greatly outweighs its purpose, since everything can be learn relatively easy during the actual run
——Hacking——
Here’s a quick guide on the hacking during the casino heist
First it should be noted that failing or aborting a hack while undetected will trigger the alarm
There are two types of hacking
Hack 1: Memory
A 6x6 panel of dots will randomize in a pattern of 6 dots going left to right, the player’s job is to memorize this pattern and recreate it to pass the hack, they player may need to do this several times
These hacks have been found really difficult and can be skipped entirely by having a level 2 keycard
Hack 2: finger print
The player is presented with a full image of a finger print and 8 fragmented images of a finger print, all the player must do is select 4 of the 8 fragments that match the full finger print and run the scan
This isn’t as hard as the memory hack, but this can waste time, so be quick but be sure in your decision
A tip for this is to go ahead and match the obvious ones and then study the smaller details of a fragment to try to find it on the full image
——Bugs, Exploits, and other Glitches——
PATCHED If the player leaves the session before finishing “Vault contents” the player can replay the setup for a chance at a better target such as paintings and gold instead of cash
During the heist, a police maverick will spawn on the roof of a nearby police station, the players can grab it before it takes off, but once it’s gone from the helipad it won’t respawn during the same heist even after a quick restart
PATCHED The player can duplicate the gold bar on a tray by leaving a single bar and leaving the tray, start collecting the tray again to spawn a new set of bars

Diamond Casino Heist Ultimate Guide

Diamond Casino Heist Ultimate Guide

Hello everybody!

The new Casino Heist has been out for over 2 weeks now and there is probably already plenty of guides about it on YT, but I've wanted to make my own guide for a while now and finally think that I have enough experience to make one. I have played the Casino Heist about 30 times now (lost count at 10) and played all the 3 different approaches with a friend, so anything I say about the finale in this guide will be doable with just 2 guys, unless I specifically say so.
Keep in mind this is not a completely flawless guide, I will keep improving and editing it whenever I learn something new. I hope this guide can help you fly through the Preps and have no problems doing the Finale.

1: The Basics
2: Vault contents
3: Approaches
4: Crew
5: General Prep Work
6: Approach specific prep
  1. Silent approach
  2. Big Con approach
  3. Aggressive approach

8: Big Con Finale
9: Aggressive Finale
10: Tips and tricks

1: The Basics

  • First of all, do the Preps in a solo public lobby. Theres no reason not to do them in a solo public lobby since others can only affect your experience in a bad way, unlike selling MC stock where you will get a bonus for every player in the lobby. (Guide for making solo public lobbies here)
  • Of course you can do the prep missions with a friend, that way you can avoid having to go to a certain place twice in some prep missions, but it's not neccesary. If you and a friend both do your prep missions simultaneously, you will be able to do 2 Finales in 2 hours if you are experienced in doing the missions. If you don't have any friends to do the preps with, don't worry, they're all doable completely alone and shouldn't be a problem to a decent player.
  • Now for Arcade locations. Of course I have to talk about Pixel Pete's in Paleto Bay. If you plan on doing the Casino Heist multiple times for a good income of large amounts of money, invest the cash from your first couple of runs from Paleto Bay into a proper arcade. I own the Videogeddon arcade in La mesa (~1,8 million), which is the cheapest in LS, but imo the 8-bit arcade (~2,6 million) is the best since its basically on the same road as the Casino and its garage is way more accesible than the La Mesa one since over there you have to drive around to the back to get into the Garage (Always enter your arcade through the garage entrance, it saves a lot of time compared to going through the front door, into the management office and through the secret tunnel) Either way they are both viable choices, but you should forget about the other ones in LS.
  • Vehicle choice. Obviously the Oppressor Mk II is your best friend for most of the prep missions, but there are plenty other viable alternatives. The Buzzard can be spawned in directly in front of you via CEO vehicles (if you own one it's free, otherwise it costs 25k per spawn) The issue with the Buzzard is its armor. After taking a couple shots, and trust me, you will, your Buzzard will start to smoke and will then stop working within ~5 minutes. The Akula is another very viable choice, especially when looking at the fact that you will have to lose the cops a lot (the memes are true). It also has fast firing homing rockets (don't use the rocket barrage, it's useless for grinding purposes) which will also help (it has infinite (?) rockets so running out of them won't be an issue, unlike the Oppressor, which only has 20) The Hydra is another hidden gem for the prep missions, if you can fly it well that is. Keep in mind that when using bulky vehicles like Helicopters or jets, the La Mesa arcade will be even worse since you have to land on the road and walk around the back of the arcade, whilst with the oppressor you can just fly straight into the back alley.
  • Hard finales. After doing a certain approach, that approach will be locked for the next heist. After doing another heist with a different approach, the approach first used will become available again with a red skull signalizing it will be on hard. Choose your 2 favourite approaches (information about the approaches below) and do them back to back, as playing the heist on hard will of course result in the loot being worth more. Don't worry about the heist being to difficult on hard, the only differences for the 2 sneaky approaches is the amount of fingerprints during hacks and for the loud approach the improved armor will be more than enough to make the heisdt a cakewalk.
  • I recommend purchasing the keypad at the prep board and training your fingerprint hacking skills on there. Trust me, you'll want to be fast when it comes to hacking the keypads. I get the hacks done in about 15 seconds and that is usually fast enough to get all the loot I want.

2: Vault contents

Alright, now for the interesting part, the vault contents. You probably know by now that Cash is the worst option. The best option in terms of money is Gold, while artwork takes significantly less time to loot. If you plan on doing the heist as a 2-man team, aim for artwork, if you are more than 2, go for gold. Forget about Cash.
So how do you influence what loot the vault contains? When doing the scoping out the vault mission, you will be able to see what the vault contains. If it's what you want, then good for you, you may leave the casino and move on to selecting the approach and crew. If however the vault contains cash or whatever loot you don't want, you can "change" the vault contents like this:
  1. Leave the camera
  2. Call Lester WHILST STILL IN THE CASINO
  3. Cancel the Casino Heist
  4. Leave the Casino and go back to your arcade
  5. Pay another 25k to start the heist again
The vault content will already be revealed. If it however still contains the unwanted loot, leave your arcade, call Lester to cancel the heist again, re-enter your arcade, start the heist for 25k again. You will then have to do the vault content mission again and if it still isn't the wanted loot, you may repeat the tactic above.
Don't worry about the 25k that you'll pay each time you restart the heist, good compared to artwork is worth about 200k more so you will have plenty of chances before losing money.
The following describes a controversial glitch that may be used to gain more loot than you're meant to, if you don't want to do this glitch, then you don't have to, but some people will obviously want to do this.
For the glitch, you need the vault to contain Gold. I would usually write this in the finale section but this may influence your decision on what loot to pick so I see this as a more fitting place to write it.
When inside the vault, the gold will be stored on several carts across the vault.
  1. Go up to one and press E to start collecting the gold.
  2. Collect every bar but stop at the last one
  3. Press right click to stop the looting whilst there is still loot on the cart
  4. Wait 2-3 seconds infront of the cart
  5. Press E to start looting again
Voila, the cart will be full with gold again and you may now collect all the bars. This can only be done once for each cart, so after "filling up the cart" once you can collect all the loot off of it without losing anything. This way you can get up to ~3,7 million worth of gold. You will be able to collect more but the rest won't be added to your total, so you might aswell stop at that amount and leave the vault.

3: Different Approaches

1: Silent and sneaky
This approach involves you sneakily going into the casino with silenced weapons, sneaking your way to the vault and then getting out undetected again. I recommend playing this with people that are willing to communicate. I'm not saying you shouldn't pick this if you have to play with randoms, just make sure they are capable of cooperating before you start the heist.
The pros of this approach are that you will have ~3:25 minutes inside the vault and that you wont get shot (hopefully) so you wont lose any loot. This approach also lets you casually empty out the secondary vault opened via the security center (more about that in the finale section)
The obvious cons are that you need to have teammates capable of cooperating so they wont rush in, alert the guards and make you lose your sanity. The detection system is also very inconsistent and things that you might think wont alert the guards will turn out to do so, sometimes.
For this approach I recommend getting the artwork loot if you are just 2 players and gold (w/o glitch) if you are more than 2
The prep missions that may be skipped for this approach are:
  1. Power drills, since the lockboxes inside the vault don't pay that much and it takes time to drill them open that can be used to loot the main contents
2: Big Con
You enter the casino in disguise and get out in disguise, making you lose no loot from being shot like in the silent approach.
First of all, USE THE GRUPPE SECHS UNIFORMS. For the gruppe sechs uniforms to becaome available, you have to photograph the security tunnel of the casino (see image below) By using the gruppe sechs outfit, you can walk straight into the vault without needing to kill anyone.

Service tunnel location
This is in my opinion the best approach since you can easily stay undetected the whole time and it leaves very little chance of failure by stupidity and gives you the full 3:25 minutes inside the vault for looting.
Recommended loot is once again Artwork for 2 people, Gold for 3-4 people.
The prep missions that may be skipped are:
  1. Patrol Routes. You will only have to kill a maximum of 2 guards and they will be near enough to pop up on your radar anyway
  2. Duggan shipments. You will kill the 2 security guards with melee since your weapons don't have stabilizers and their armor doesn't save them from melee attacks.
  3. Power drills, again, since the effort of drilling the lockboxes is not worth it most of the time
3: Aggressive
The most barebones approach involves you shooting your way through the casino and blowing the vault open. This is the easiest approach to do with randoms and can even be done with level 10s who just got their first million.
I recommend photographing the sewer entrance to shorten the way that you have to fight your way through (see image below)

Sewer location
The recommended loot is always artwork since you won't have as mcuh time in the vualt, so the faster you get all the loot the better.
The prep missions that may be skipped for this approach are:
  1. Power drills, obviously since you have less time inside the vault.

4: Crew

Crew choice, seems like a hard decision, really isn't. You basically want to pick the cheapest crewmembers who give you the best hardware.
1: Gunman
Karl Abolaji. For every approach. This might seems like a stupid decision seeing as he only gives you a sawed-off shotgun or heavy revolver for the loud approach, but you will actually get an SMG aswell, which is very usuable for the loud approach. If you don't feel comfortable with just an SMG, Pick either Patrick McReary or Gustavo Mota. Packie will of course be very hard to unlock (Guide to unlocking Packie here) but he will give you a combat MG for only 8% of the cut, whilst Gustavo Mota will give you a Carbine OR Assault shotgun (with the SMG) for 9%
For Silent and Big Con, Karl will give you Micro-MPs, which are more than capable of doing their job, that being killing guards in the silent approach. For Big Con, you could actually play completely without weapons since you only need to melee 2 guards.
2: Driver
Probably the least important crewmember. Some people don't even use the getaway cars provided. So of course, pick Karim Denz. He will be able to source oyu the Sentinel Classic, which is a more than capable Car for getting to the needed places (more information about getaway in the finale section) for the smallest cut.
Of course you may choose other drivers if you want to unlock the trade price for any of the vehicles.
3: Hacker
The most important crewman. Really the only viable choice is Avi Schwartzman, who can be unlocked by destroying the 50 signal jammers spread around San Andreas (Guide for 50 jammers here) He will give you the most time in the vault (Paige is an "expert" hacker aswell but she will give you ~15 seconds less inside the vault) Don't even think about all the other hackers, the hacker is no place to cheap out.

Ideal crew layout

5: General Prep Work

Alright, in this section I'll go over all the prep missions and give some tips and hints on what to do and what not to do and what vehicles work best. First of all, don't buy any of these preps for 70k, they're all somewhat easy to do and shouldn't be a problem for a solo player.
1: Untraceable weapons
This mission is be annoying but also easy. There are lumtiple types of this mission, and whilst none of them are a true challenge, they can be annoying to do since you have to either fly/drive a slow vehicle or collect 2 crates.
  • Noose Vans: There will be 4 Noose vans around the map and you have to blow the back door off to check for the weapons. You cannot lock onto the vans with homing missiles, so you either have to have good aim or use stickybombs in a ground vehicle. After finding the right one, you have to take it back to your arcade, after losing a wanted level. The annoying thing is, you cannot call Lester to lose that wanted level and the Van is very slow, I recommend driving through a tunnel where the cops cannot go to lose them.
  • I/E crew: You have to fly to the shore and find A couple of guys exporting the weapons, just blow them up or murder them any way, get in the Tula and fly to Sandy Shores airfield. When taking off in the Tula, switch to VTOL mode and gain some forward speed and altitude before switching to normal flying.
  • Lost MC/Vagos: You have to go to the clubhouse of the Vagos or Lost, clear the hostiles, find the weapons inside the clubhouse and bring them to your arcade. You will probably die the first couple times you try this mission, but you'll get the hang of it eventually. If you get the Lost MC mission and you have an arcade in LS, I recommend just finding a new session if you're alone since flying to Paleto Bay twice can be very time consuming.

A weapons case inside the Lost MC clubhouse
2: Getaway cars
This mission is somewhat easy for all types, but of course it's much faster done with a friend since you will have to get 2 cars most of the time.
  • Police warehouse: You have to go to a vehicle warehouse of the police and get the 2 cars out of there, don't worry about the sounds of the engines when in the warehouse, the cops inside seem to be deaf. When driving outside, be careful not to alert the cops standing outside or you'll have to lose your wanted level first.
  • Valet: You go to a hotel, scare away some valets, dress up as one and wait for the cars to arrive. Nothing much can go wrong here. The only things you shouldn't do is shoot or knock out the valets and bump into somebody infront of the hotel. Just simply bring the cars to your arcade and you're done.
  • I/E crew: You have to take the cars off a crew who just imported them. Just go to the location, kill the goons and take the cars. Watch out however, the enemies have extremely good aim and even a single enemy can kill you in a couple of seconds. Just use your homing rockets (don't worry, the getaway cars can't be blown up) to kill them, get the cars and bring them to your arcade.
3: Hacking Device
Seems like a simple mission, and it is. There are only two types of this mission, and they are both somewhat easy.
  • FIB: Collect a security pass off an FIB agent by brutally slaughtering him and his fellows, go to the FIB office, find the briefcase with the hacking devise, get out, lose the cops and bring it to your arcade. When killing the FIB agent, an exploded vehicle may block the agent's corpse. Just get another car to push anything away. There is also a bug where the corpse will either always be considered as blocked or ont even appear, if that happens you have to find a new session and restart the mission.
  • Noose: The early part is pretty similar to the FIB type, you collect a keycard off of an agent, enter the Noose building and use your phone to find the hacking device. When you get out of the Noose building, the alarm will always automatically go off, just fly away with your OppressoAkula etc. and lose the cops before bringing the hack device to your arcade. You can also assassinate the agent silently when collecting the keycard by approaching him, waiting for him to go away from the other 2 agents and then bopping him in the head with a gun, but form my experience its faster to just blow him up since you'll most likely lose the cops on the way to the Noose building anyway.

The briefcase you're looking for
4: Vault Keycards
This one has 2 mission types. In one you just go to two guards who have the keycards, eliminate them silently by smacking them in the head with a weapon and then looting their keycards.
The other mission is a bit more complicated. It involves you getting a prison bus and entering the bolingbroke prison in that disguise tho then silently murder a guard there who has the keycards. You actually don't have to collect or even blow up the bus, you can fly straight to the prison, kill the guard and get the keycard. Keep in mind thatr you wil get 4 stars doing it this way and there are snipers on the 2 adjacent towers to where the keycard guard is, so you'll wnat to kill those first before looting the guard.
The recommended vehicle is the Oppressor Mk II just to get around faster, but the Akula is a very viable choice aswell to lose the cops more easily after flying to the prison.
5: Guard Patrols
Pretty straight-forward mission. You go to a Duggan security meeting, kill all the guards, find the correct car, photograph the plan and then get out.
This mission can be done stealthy, but it's basically impossible, you're better off juzst shooting them straight away.
The correct car will always be a Felon GT and there will always be 3 of them in the same positions, so you get the hang of where to go after doing it a couple of times.
Once again the Oppressor and Akula are your go-to vehicles for this mission, but DO NOT use the rockets to blow up the guards, the chance of accidentaly blowing up the car with the plans is not worth the risk, and I suggest you also dont use a Minigun since that can also bvlow up the car pretty quick.
6: Duggan Shipments
This is the most stressful prep. You need to destroy 10 of Duggans shipments in 10 minutes to weaken the guards inside the casino. The easiest way to do them is with any chopper with rockets (Akula, Hunter, Savage etc.) or the Oppressor Mk II (you may need to fly an optimal route so you have enough time to destroy all of them.
It is actually no neccesary to destroy all of them, for the silent approach destroying 2-4 is sufficient to make the guards not have helmets (you don't want to bodyshot them anyway, that might make them sound the alarm) but for the loud approach, it's best to destroy all 10 of them so that the guards only have Pistols and Micro SMGs.
If you fail to destroy all 10 in time, you can quickly leave the session before the time runs out and retry the mission.
7: Security Intel
This prep is unlocked after completing the 6 Casino missions unlocked by buying a Casino Penthouse. It can only be done once, so you won't have to replay it every heist.
The mission is simple, you go to a mall, meet Vincent, get the stolen car back for him (use a vehicle with drive-by weapons, helicopters and the Oppressor aren't good for this mission) and done, you can now see all the cameras inside the casino.
8: Power Drills
This mission also has 2 types, but the van one is much rarer. The common one involves going to a construction site and getting 2 power drills.
When you get to the cunstruction site, there will be a white icon on the map. Go there and equip the helmet (your character may remove the helmet shortly after equipping it but the disguise will still work) then just go and check the boxes for the power drills
YOU CAN CARRY BOTH DRILLS AT ONCE! That way you don't have to fly all the way to your arcade and back to collect the other drill.
The second type involves stealing a van with the drills inside and taking ti to your arcade. Simply use a vehicle with drive-by weapons (Once again no chopper or Oppressor), kill the driver AND passenger (he will get on the driver seat after the driver dies), collect the van and take it to your arcade.
9: Security Pass
First of all, ALWAYS get the level 2 security pass (the one showing a valet and croupier on the mission picture) The level 1 pass will only get you through the outside doors whilst the level 2 pass will open all doors except the level 3 ones inside the vault.
Once again, two types of this mission may occur. The first involves you stealing a hearse from a church parking lot. You will then have to lose a 2-star wanted level and drive to a hospital where you then have to find the corpse of a valet and get his security pass. When entering the hospital, your character may automatically have a weapon drawn, so pay attention to that before running through to the corpse.
The other type has you going to the party of a croupier, waiting until lester found the right guy and then take the security pass off him. When you get to the party, there will be a pavillon with people dancing, just go there and start dancing until lester has found the right guy. When you then search the croupier for the pass and it's not on him, just search for a small purple keycard (it can be somewhat hard to find but it will always be in the same locations) and collect it.
As for vehicles, anything goes. The Oppressor will probably get you where you want to go the fastest.

The pavillon that you can dance under

6: Approach Specific Preps

Silent approach:
1: Drones
You have to destroy 5 drones spread around LS and collect their parts. Pretty simple mission, use something with rockets (Oppressor will have better rockets than Helicopters) and blow up the drones. You can of course carry all 5 drone parts at once.
It can be tricky to lock on to the drones as you will also lock onto the cops if you have a wanted level, just swap from non-homing to homing rockets if you locked onto the wrong target.
2: Laser drills
This can be a difficult mission. You will either have to take the two drills off the military, which may be hard since they are very accurate and theres a lot of them, but you can use you Oppressor or Akula rockets without worrying about blowing up the drills, just be sure to stay far enough away, their aim is surprisingly good. Be careful when collecting the first laser drill, if the cops kill you your Oppressor may be impounded and you have to use a different one.
The second type will be to take the drills from a bunch of Cliffford soldiers (apparently they're still around) which is way harder than the military since the cliffford soldiers are EXTREMELY accurate and there will even be a juggernaut and snipers. I don't recommend using the Oppressor for this as you are very vulnerable when standing still, go with an Akula instead. Just kill all the soldiers, enter the warehouse, kill some more soldiers, take the drills and get to oyur arcade.
3: EMP
Another pretty easy and simple mission, you will have to collect a cargobob (with an extra long cable) from the airport, fly to the LS University and steal their EMP. Then just fly to the drop-off, lose a 3-star wanted level by evading the helicopters and drop off the EMP.
Some people skip this mission and the next one, but I use the EMP during the finale to casually do the last hard part so theres no risk of screwing anything up. If you are however coordinated enough to not need the EMP, then you may skip this and the next prep
4: Stealth Uniforms
I highly recommend paying for this mission, it can be very annoying and you get the 70k back from the finale anyway.
This mission involves you going to humane labs and assasinating guards silently (very similar to the infamous deliver EMP mission) and getting the uniforms from the garage where you would park the insurgent in the Humane Labs Heist. This mission can be done quickly if you have a buddy, if you don't, it's better to just skip it and pay the 70k (If you don't plan on using the EMP you don't need to do this mission anyway, it's only for the night-vision equipment)
Big Con approach:
For this one, I'll only talk about the group sechs uniforms, since this is the easiest method of doing the Casino Heist by far. If you want to use a different uniform to unlock it, go ahead, but do be warned that it will be significantly harder to fully stealth.
1: Group Sechs, part 1:
Simple mission, go to a mechanics repair shop, kill the mechanic after realizing the Stockade is locked, get the keys and drive away. You will get a wanted level, but you can call Lester to easily lose them.
2: Group Sechs, part 2:
A bit harder, but still pretty easy. This mission is similar to the Patrol routes mission, you have to go to a group sechs meeting, kill everyone (this can also be done stealthy, but its again almost impossible), photograph the license plate of the black stockade, send it to Lester and then get the equipment and bring it to your arcade. Again as with the Patrol routes mission, do not use explosives to kill the guards as you might accidentaly blow up the equipment. You can call Lester to get rid off your wanted level.
3: Vault drills
Yet another simple mission with two types
  • Fleeca: A crew of bankrobbers will be robbing a Fleeca-bank with the needed drills. Go there, kill em, get their drill, lose the cops, bring the drills to your arcade. Pretty simple, but you cant call Lester, so using an Oppressor or Akula is beneficial.
  • Heist crew: A bunch of heisting dudes are being arrested by the police. Go there, kill em, get their drills, lose the cops, bring the drills to oyur arcade. Pretty simple, but you can't call Lester, so using an Oppressor or Akula is beneficial....hm, I'm having quite the Déjà vu.
4: Escape Outfits (Noose)
I'm choosing Noose outfits because they look better (and I'm sure they are in some way better than the Firefighter uniforms, I just don't know how, you seem to get spotted in the Noose uniforms aswell)
Simple (yet somewhat difficult) mission. Go to the mission row police station, kill all the cops there, find the Noose equipment, loose the cops and bring them back to your arcade. You can't call Lester to lose the cops so an Akula would be helpful. When collecting the second uniforms doing it solo, you will once again get 4 stars, so be ready to evade the cops again. Also, when you die at the police station, the cops will most likely impound your vehicle, so a careful approach would be better.
Aggressive approach
1: Thermal explosives
Loud has some pretty annoying mission, this being the first one. Once again, there are 2 types of this mission
  • You have to go to some rednecks and get the explsovies off of them. Just kill them all (once again no need to worry about blowing anything importnat up) and collect the boxes. They have a pretty big pickup distance so collecting them in a Helicopter should be no problem
  • SecuroServ Warehouse: Go to a warehouse, kill some people outside, kill some people inside, find the explosives, bring them to your arcade, no cops, pretty easy.
2: Vault explosives
This may be the most annoying mission of the entire heist. You have to go to a crash site of a plane, dive to the wreck and collect the explsovies. If you own one, put on a diving suit BEFORE starting the mision, you can't access the outfits during the mission.
When arriving at the crash site, you can dive straight to the plane if you have a scuba suit equipped, that saves you the killing and you won't get shot at instantly. Otherwise you have to kill some goons and equip a scuba suit nearby marked on your radar. When you collect the explosives, 3 helicopters will spawn. When you get out of the water, kill the gunners inside the helicopters, not the pilots. The helicopters would respawn and by only killing the gunners they will just follow you without shooting you.
3: Improved armor
You'll probably want to buy this prep, since this mission can also be very annoying. Two types of this mission, both are very unpleasant.
  • Humane Labs: Go to the beach at humane labs, get into a scuba suit, dive through the cooling tunnel into the facility, find the armor and bring it to your arcade. This mission may not be that hard, but the long swim and indoor fighting stretch out the mission and it quickly becomes repetetive and boring. There will atleast be a buzzard when you get out of the facility.
  • Merryweather bunker: Enter a bunker, kill the merryweather goons, find the armor and bring it to the arcade. Simple mission on paper, but the enemies will probably kill you atleast once and the armor sometimes can be tricky to find, I once spent 15 minutes searching the armor.
4: Drill
Simple mission and only needed if you plan on entering the casino through the sewers. Just go collect a truck with the drill loaded onto it, drive it through the water channel and into the sewers. The time you save by going into the casino through the sewers is probably negated by the time it takes for this mission, but having a more relaxed finale is certainly worth doing one more short prep mission.

7: Silent Finale

Alright, it's finally time for the big moneys, the finale. For this approach, you'll want to go in through either the garbage disposal or personnel room and go out through the personnel room. ALWAYS choose the high end buyer, he will give you the most money.
The finale starts very simple, you drive to the casino and enter through the door you chose. Careful, there will be a camera that you need to zap using your stun gun. When inside, there will be metal detectors that you need to disable by shooting the current box with the stun gun. Sometimes there will be guards watching the metal detectors, in that case you need to take them out before you go through.
When taking out guards, it's better for player guy to kill 2 guards facing eachother, as internet issues may cause in the alarm being raised even if the guards are killed simultaneously. You have more than enough time between shooting the first guard and the second guard raising the alarm that it shouldn't be a problem, just make sure your teammates stay back and don't interfere with the player killing the guards.
After clearing the first area (see picture below), you enter the security room through one of four doors (most of the time 2 of them are locked, can be seen by a red display on the keypad instead of the blue diamond) and then wait for the guard in the hallway to move out of the cameras sightline (Do not worry about the glass at the security room, for some reason guards can't see through it. The y can however see through the glass of the doors) Then you follow him (watch out for the camera) and shoot him in the head. Feel free to then clear the secondary vault by one play opening it for another player to loot (theres another button to open the vault inside, the player pressing the button only has to let him in) and then USE THE STAIRS to get to the vault floor.
When going down the stairs, a guard will walk up the stairs, shoot him in the head, disable the camera in the stairway and make your way all the way down.

Getting to the stairs undetected
On the vault floor, go out of the stairway and take out the 2 guards to the left. Then set off your EMP (this will also obviously disable the cameras) by having the host open their phone and using the securoserv-hack. The lights will then go out and you can rush into the main lobby and take out the 4 guards there. You can ignore the last guard inside the security room, just go to the keypads, swipe both at once and enter the mantrap.

Getting to the mantrap undetected
When at the vault door, 2 guys get out their laser drills and start drilling. The drilling is very simple, you just keep the drill as hot as possible whilst not overheating it. When inside the vault, take as much loot as you can but make sure to leave the vault before the time runs out (I recommend stopping the looting with 20-25 seconds remaining to ensure you have enough time to get out).
When getting back into the vault lobby, there will be 2 guards walking past the stairway, you can ignore those, just use the stairs to go up again (and don't forget to disable the camera in the stairway)
When back in the main floor, follow the route shown in the picture below whilst taking out any guards in the way (2 will be in the security room, you can ignore those) and leave the casino through the personnel door. Don't worry about the metal detectors whilst going out, they dont seem to alert the guards.

Getting out of the Casino undetected
When outside, again follow the route shown on the picture below to get to the getaway cars (locations may vary with different drivers) and drive into the sewers. Then spend some time in the sewers by either waiting or driving to another exit (I personally like to drive to the exit right at the highway so that the drive to the buyer is as fast as possible) Make sure not to drive too close to the Casino, as that will get you 5 wanted stars. I recommend avoiding the freeway next to the casino, you may however use the road to the north-west of the freeway.

Escape route with getaway car locations in pink (when choosing the 5% driver)
Then just casually drive to the buyer after you've lost the cops and there you go, fat loot.

8: Big Con Finale

This is the easiest finale by far. Choose the group Sechs entry uniform, noose escape uniform, the personnel rooms as the exit and of course the high end buyer.
Take the Group Sechs truck to the Casino and through the service tunnel, wait until the guard lets you through, park it on the yellow marker and use the elevator or stairs to get to the vault floor.
On the vault floor, just run to the keypads for the mantrap. The guards don't care if you're running or even jumping, just don't bump into anybody and don't draw your weapons.
The just casually loot the vault and again, make sure to get out before the time runs out (stop looting with about 25 seconds left to have enough time to get out safely.
Then just walk through the mantrap and the vault lobby again but USE THE STAIRS to get to the main floor (the camera will not raise the alarm, don't worry about it). Make sure you are all past the camera before going to the main floor, as anyone who didn't go past the camera will get detected due to the guards being alerted and a wanted level appearing. When at the main floor, use the route in the picture below to get to the Noose outfits and switch into them to walk past the last few guards without any problem.

Getting out of the Casino with the Noose uniforms
When outside, follow the same route as in the silent approach to get to the getaway cars. Drive into the sewers, lose the cops in there and then again casually drive to the buyer whilst avoiding driving to close to the casino.

Getting to the getaway cars and into the sewers undetected

9: Aggresive Finale

There really isn't any major explanation needed for this approach, as you won't have to worry about getting detected.
If you chose to enter through the sewers, drive there, enter the tunnel that was dug with the giant drill and plant explosives at the wall to gain entrance to the vault floor directly.
Then just shoot your way to the mantrap keypads and have the others protect the people opening the mantrap if you are playing with 3 or 4 players.
When looting the vault, you won't have to worry about getting out in time, and the nerve agent does very little damage, so don't be scared to take longer than the timer says.
Whilst shooting your way out of the casino, you may use either the elevator or the stairs to get to the main floor. Going through the security room allows you to evade any guards that may be in the south corridor.
When you get out of the casino, you may follow the same route as in the undetected approaches or run directly to the getaway vehicles, although you will probably get shot more doing that and therefor loose more money.
Get to your cars, drive into the sewers and lose the cops. Then you're just one casual drive away from making another bunch of cash. I highly recommend getting bulletproof tires for your getaway cars on this approach, and whilst you are spending that 10k per car, why not go big and get the 15k upgrade that laos makes the cars go much faster.

10: Tips and tricks

So in this section (which I will probably expand with additional tips, feel free to leave some in the comments) I'll go over some of the things I didn't mention that may save some effort or time when doing this heist.
  • You can lose the cops by going into the back of your Terrorbyte if you aren't carrying any equipment (useful during the untraceable weapon mission with the Noose van)

That about covers it for this heist. This has unexpectedly been quite the project for me, it took me 3 days of writing here and there and getting screenshots, so leaving a smol updoot would be appreciated. If you have any questions, of course feel free to leave a comment, I'll try my best to read every single one of them :)
Happy heisting! (and may your sessions be free of griefers!)

Possible vehicles for each driver

Possible prep missions:

Support crew

Unmarked weapons
  • Elysian Island police raid on a ship. You can do it without being spotted by being stealthy, easier to finish.
  • Steal flight manifest from Merryweather compound, then shoot back door of flying Titan while being chased by respawning Buzzards until it drops weapons, then pick them up. Doable with a Buzzard. Not sure what happens if the back door of the Titan is shot with rockets.
    • Possible locations: Palmer-Taylor Power Station, ?
  • Weapon smugglers off the coast: kill them then steal a Tula, being chased to the Sandy Shores air strip by Froggers.
    • Possible locations: Palomino Highlands, ?
  • Steal from The Lost MC clubhouse, uses the player owned clubhouse interior
    • Possible locations: Paleto Bay, ?
  • Steal from the Vagos Clubhouse.
    • Possible locations: La Mesa, ?
  • Steal from military
    • Possbile locations: Fort Zancudo, ?
  • Search NOOSE vans moving across the map, then steal the one containing weapons (have to lose cops first).
  • ?
Getaway vehicles
  • Valet job at a random hotel. Wait for the owner to exit the car and walk away then drive the car back to the Arcade. Easiest one.
    • Unlocks: Valet outfit
    • Possible locations: Rockford Dorset Hotel, Opium Nights Hotel (LSIA), Banner Hotel & Spa (Del Perro), ?
  • Steal cars from LSPD lockup. Doable with stealth inside, prevents a shootout in the lockup. There are two policemen standing outside who can spot you. You can try your luck and after exiting moving to the right lane of the ramp and tearing off, they might not see you or if you want to go for sure: you park with your Terrorbyte across the street, then you take one car outside, move it to the right lane but do not move forward, then go back for the other car, taking it out to the default left lane, killing the two guards, entering the back of the Terrorbyte to lose wanted levels, and deliver the cars to your Arcade.
    • Possible locations: Rockford Hills, ?
  • Steal racing cars at air strip. You can wait for them to finish the race or steal during (you have to shoot the driver then). Cars chasing afterwards.
    • Possible locations: LSIA, Sandy Shores
  • Steal illegally imported cars from the importers. A Cargobob Jetsam spawns so if you watch what you shoot at you can use it to fly the cars back (a bit slow though, so unless the cars themselves are slow it's probably better to drive).
    • Possible locations: Chupacabra Street (Elysian Island), Paleto Bay railyard, ?
  • ?
Chester McCoy vehicles only:
  • Elysian Island, Merryweather testing, 1 armored NPC with railgun, multiple turreted cars, explosives next to getaway cars (not a good idea to shoot rockets or grenades), helicopters and cars chasing afterwards.
  • Guarded convoy in LS or Blaine County.
  • ?
Hacking device
  • Steal from FIB HQ. First go and kill a couple crooked FIB agents, get their badges and then enter the FIB HQ. Use phone app to find the item by its signal. On the way out when you pass the entrance gates in the FIB building, they will start shooting and you, so you may as well start by shooting them. You will receive a wanted level anyway.
    • Unlocks: FIB outfits (no badge)
    • Possible agent locations: La Puerta (at the Bay City apartment), Strawberry / Strawberry Ave, West Vinewood / Laguna Place, ?
    • You can tell you got this mission by having your outfit changed to a messy FIB suit.
    • Dialogue start: "You might remember I directed your attention to some keypads when you were looking around the casino. Yeah, if we wanna hack them which we do, we're gonna need some FIB technology from their building on Pillbox Hill."
  • Kill a corrupt NOOSE agent (wait for it to walk away from the other two, then take him out with one melee hit from stealth to prevent the others from shooting and possibly a wanted level) take their badge and enter the NOOSE HQ (same interior as DDH, Act 1 Server Farm). Use phone app to find the device's signal. You can do this part without killing by sticking to the safe side corridors and avoiding guards and cameras. You get a wanted level after exiting though. You can not enter a Service vehicle's cargo area to remove the wanted levels and if you drive to the North you get wanted levels when you drive by the NOOSE HQ again, so start driving towards your Arcade and don't mess around.
    • Possible agent locations: Davis City Hall, Los Santos City Hall, at IAA building at Pillbox Hill, ?
    • Dialogue start: "You'll remember I directed your attention to some keypads when you were looking around the casino. Yeah, their tech is some of the best in the business, government level."

General prep work

Vault keycards
  • Two guards, randomly found in Los Santos or Blaine County, on the streets or in a motel/apartment room. This is definitely the easier mission though you have two targets.
    • Possible locations: starts walking in front of Hornbills on Eclipse Boulevard (West Winewood), The Motor Motel (Harmony), Perrera Beach Motel (Del Perro), Mirror Park Tavern, ?
  • Steal a prison bus then drive it to Bolingbroke Penitentiary. Maintain your disguise and drive to the mentioned tower. Your target is either outside (lucky) or inside the tower. If your target is inside and facing away from the stairs, do a sneak melee attack to kill it. If it's facing the stairs, you are very unlucky. Try to do a headshot from below or wait for it to turn around but do not linger for too long or they will start shooting at you (with two snipers from the adjacent towers) and you also get a 4 star wanted level. The only way out of the ring is the way you entered.
    • Unlocks: Prison Guard outfits
Patrol routes
  • What does it do? Displays patrolling NPCs on the same level on the map (both minimap and pause menu map).
  • Mission: Duggan security meeting in a parking lot. You need to take a photo of the patrol routes roster in the back trunk of a car. Lester sends a text with the licence plate of the target car. There are two patrolling guards in a mirrored pattern. The car will always be on the less crowded side of the parking lot in the way of one of the two moving guards, where no stationary NPCs can see the back of the cars. Once you found the target car (just by walking past them) wait for the guard to pass it towards the more crowded part of the parking lot and open the trunk. After opening it move into a safe spot immediately becuase you don't have time to take a photo of the roster, the guard is on it's way back. You can take a photo of the trunk from farther as well, it only checks which side you are taking the photo from, it doesn't actually have to be legible on the photo (gg rockstar). Or you can go in loud and kill them all (the Stone Hatchet with its Rampage mode is really good) but you will receive a wanted level if you choose this method.
    • Possible locations: Galileo Observatory, Little Seoul or Pillbox Hill
  • Tips and bugs:
    • Two example locations of the cars: Observatory and Little Seoul. Check the minimap.
    • You don't have to be right next to the trunk to take the photo of the roster you can take it from farther away, the only thing that matters is to take it from the proper side.
    • If you take a photo of the routes in the trunk of the target car then destroy the car, the prep mission fails, even though you already sent the stuff to Lester.
Duggan shipments
  • What does it do? Weakens the equipment of the Casino security, such as bulletproof helmets.
  • Mission: 10 targets have to be taken out, across the whole map in 10 minutes. They are not armored, 1 homing rocket is sufficient to destroy them, the Oppressor Mk II (with maxed out performance upgrades and rockets equipped) is really good for this mission if you are doing it solo. You can not get wanted levels during this mission. Usually 3 ground (gruppe sechs van), 3 water (dinghy) targets and the rest are aerial (1 target and 1 escort helicopter). If you shoot at them but miss and they survive they will start chasing you. Helicopters may rarely crash on their own, one target less for you.
Security intel
  • What does it do? Show all cameras and their cones on the map in the casino during the heist.
  • Requirement Own Casino Penthouse/do Casino missions (Ms Baker) as host.
  • Mission: Meet Vincent at Rockford Plaza and follow up with him. This mission is unlocked permanently though there is an option to replay it later from the second prep board. You have to chase a car and shoot the driver so it might be a good idea to not drive a vehicle that only shoots rockets.
Power drills
  • What does it do? Gives you the ability to drill small deposit boxes in the vault. You won't have time for this with two players so probably not necessary. You can carry multiple drills at the same time so you don't have to drive back for the second one.
  • Mission variants:
    • Steal a hardware store van leaving a construction site (you don't have to go to the marked location as it will start moving away from it once you are in spawning distance). Or you can just destroy it and take both drills. Killing them gets you 2 wanted levels.
      • Possible locations: Dunstable Lane, Redwood Lights Track, ?
    • Go to a construction site and search boxes of equipment (i.e. look at them). You can put on a disguise if you are careful but if you linger near the workers they will attack you (along with the security guards).
      • Possible locations: Vespucci Canals, ?
Security pass lvl1
  • Penthouse owners can steal a level 1 pass from the cleaning trolley in their penthouse if the maid is present.
  • ?
OR
Security pass lvl2
  • What does it do? Lets you skip the pattern hacks by swiping the security card.
  • Mission variants:
    • Dead casino valet: steal a Hearse and funeral director clothes from Hill Valley Church, go into morgue, get badge. If you enter a room and the green blip doesn't appear on your map, the pass isn't in that room.
      • Unlocks: Undertakers/The Ominous outfit
    • Croupier: knocked out at a party in a random garden. Go to party, wait for Lester to send the photo of the target, find target (laying or sitting somewhere out of sight), search them then if they don't have the pass on them, look for it on a nearby table or under some foliage.
      • Possible locations: Vinewood Hills, West Winewood, Pacific Bluffs, ?
  • Tips and bugs:
    • you can walk into the garden, walk out and wait around 1.5-2 minutes then walk back and lester will almost always send you the text right then, you can avoid having to "blend in" while he is searching for the croupier
    • the croupier will always be someone unconscious
    • looking at a "blend in" prompt will automatically start doing it, therefore standing under the tent on PC makes you stuck in dancing, it says pressing Esc will allow you to you quit the animation but it's actually right click and you gotta spam it a bit to break out of the loop (because you are looking at the prompt)
    • when approaching the area of the party with a flying vehicle, try not to fly over or you will get a nice 3-star wanted level.

Approach specific preps

Stealth
Nano drones
Shoot down 5 LSPD nano drones, everyone in Org/MC gets 3 star wanted level, doesn't clear upon death but can be lost. Pick up drone parts. You can pick them up after losing wanted levels too.
Vault laser
Steal from military or Cliffford mercenaries, instant 4 stars, not removed upon death. Take an armored vehicle and lots of snacks if you want to make sure you do it as quickly as possible.
  • possible locations: Fort Zancudo, El Burro Heights, ?
EMP device
Steal EMP from USLA with a Cargobob (you have to steal that from LSIA but maybe you can bring your own?) and deliver it to Vinewood substation of Los Santos Department of Water and Power. (stealing EMP from university is an Ocean's 11 reference)
Infiltration suits
Has to be stolen from Humane Labs. You can either parachute in and take a sneaky approach or go in and kill them all then hack the door also hacked in Deliver EMP of Humane Raid heist. Two duffel bags have to be taken, if you are alone you have to come back. A couple NPCs respawn but not all of them. Wanted level upon breaking in of course.
Big con
Entry disguise (2 parts for each)
  • Bugstars gear
    • Part 1: Steal a Bugstars Burrito, containing the outfits as well
      • Possible locations: Richman, ?
    • Part 2: Steal a Trashmaster full of insects to create a reason for Bugstars pest control being called to the Casino
      • Possible locations: Rogers Salvage & Scrap (La Puerta), ?
      • Unlocks: Refuse Collector outfits
  • Maintenance gear
    • Part 1: Steal two bags of equipment and outfits from a maintenance crew
      • Possible locations: Rockford Hills, ?
    • Part 2: Steal an LSDWP van and take it to the Casino, then pour chemicals into a broken ventilation unit on top of the building. Take van to Arcade.
      • Possible locations: Cypress Flats, ?
  • Gruppe Sechs gear
    • Part 1: Steal damaged Stockade (armored van) from an auto repair shop (drive there with a Service vehicle to remove wanted level)
      • Possible locations: Harmony, Beeker's Garage (Paleto), ?
      • Tips: You can enter the back of a Service vehicle to lose wanted levels. A Vigilante can push the Stockade to make it go faster if you get a location far from your Arcade.
    • Part 2: Infiltrate security meeting of the Duggans (somewhat similar to Patrol routes) and take a photo of the licence plate of a security van plus steal two duffel bags from its back (outfits)
      • Possible locations: underground garage in Little Seoul, parking lot under the intersection of I-2 (Del Perro Freeway) and I-4 (Olympic Freeway) in Murrieta Heights, ?
      • Quick complete: drive Terrorbyte really close, kill dudes, enter Terrorbyte to lose wanted level, take photo and grab the bags.
Vault drills
  • Steal from bank robbers robbing the Fleeca branch on Great Ocean Highway (nostalgia)
  • Steal from police who just caught a couple bank robbers
    • Possible locations: Del Perro, Terminal, ?
  • ?
Yung Ancestor preps if host scoped out the terrace, unlocks Yung Ancestor fan entry disguise
  • Part 1, "Dead Weight": take care of a vehicle, with a corpse in its trunk (allegedly), you end up going to the Altruist camp after a couple changes in the destination
  • Part 2, "After Party": chase down paparazzi and destroy their cameras
Exit disguise
  • Firefighter gear: go to a reported arson incident and steal the Firetruck. Wanted level guaranteed but can be removed by entering a Service vehicle's back area.
  • NOOSE gear: two duffel bags, stolen from an LSPD (or possibly LSSD) station. Wanted level guaranteed. This is an Ocean's 11 reference, as they leave the casino disguised as SWAT.
    • Possible locations: Mission Row Police Station
Aggressive
Breaching charges
  • Steal them from thieves. Two bags, have to be delivered one by one. Chasing hillbillies.
    • Possible locations: Cholla Springs Avenue (Sandy Shores), Zancudo River, ?
  • Steal from SecuroServ warehouses (big warehouse interior). They give chase with sedans and Buzzards when the second package leaves the warehouse.
    • Possible locations: LSIA (westernmost building in the corner), Popular Street (Cypress Flats), ?
  • ?
Vault explosives
  • Steal them from smugglers. Underwater, 2 boxes, can only carry one at a time, lots of waves of helicopters spawning. I suggest equipping a scuba based outfit before starting it (as it locks outfits as soon as you start) and going in as a CEO to call in a Dinghy and to use BST (or you could just steal another boat if you can). Kill everyone beforehand until the waves stop. Then dive down and find both of them. Pick up one and swim out to the shore, aim for an area with a bit of cover. Drop a BST and kill the waves of helicopters or get in your vehicle and tear off. Alternatively you can use a Stromberg to pick it up undetected, helicopters will still spawn after the broadcast timer is gone.
    • Possible locations: Catfish View, Paleto Cove, North Calafia Way (Alamo Sea north shore), ?
  • ?
Reinforced armor
  • Steal from Humane Labs, swim through underwater entrance with scuba suit you put on at the shore (mandatory objective, plus Style menu gets locked on mission start), steal armor, go up with elevator. Don't dawdle in the elevator or it will take you to the surface. After you picked up the armor and go back to the surface with an elevator, get into cover immediately, there will be a couple armed guards with machine guns and deadly accuracy. Take the Buzzard and don't stop to fight.
  • Steal from a Merryweather bunker. Uses the player owned bunker interior, there are a couple Insurgents and a Brickade inside, you can use these to drive out but it will force you out of the vehicle shortly after. I don't think you can take a sneaky approach to find the boxes containing the armor as the guards cones of vision overlap and most of them don't move, so just kill them all, which will result in Mesas and Buzzards chasing you back to the Arcade when the second armor has been picked up.
    • Possible locations: Route 68 Bunker, Farmhouse Bunker, ?
  • ?
Boring machine
  • Steal and drive to the Sewer entrance. Don't follow the GPS if you know where it is (end of the storm drain, just south of the race track at the Casino), it's really dumb and wants to take you to one specific legal entry of the storm drain when in fact you can enter it nearly anywhere. Wanted level most likely.
    • Possible locations: driving on the freeway, parked in El Burro Heights, north of the Grapeseed airfield, Davis Quartz, Terminal, ?

Simple Guide for The Casino Heist (All three finale)

Let me start by saying that the following are just from my personal experience and my personal opinion, I do very much welcome any suggestions and any help I can get to further improve this post.
On the way to the vault:
- Sneaky and Silent: Patient is key. Considering that R* made a few patterns for where the guards stand/patrol, until you get the perfect idea of when to move up and take them out, I would suggest taking time at learning the patterns and figuring out how to move forward to avoid alerting any guards. Stun gun is helpful, but only necessary when taking the stairs to take temporarily take out the stationary cameras. Taking the elevator will alert the guard of your presence when you get down to the vault level as there are 3 guards standing right outside the elevator. Once down at the vault level, the EMP (if acquired) would be extremely useful to clear out the guards without too much of a hassle, but the main point stands: patient is key. One important thing to note for this finale is that if you are working as a group of 4, it would be helpful if at least 2 of them stay behind and just take cover until the other 2 clears the way to the flight of stairs, unless everybody knows what they are doing. I can't tell you how many times my teammate mess this up (regardless of their levels by the way) by either running into guards/cameras by mistake OR accidentally pushing another person into the vision cone.
- Big Con: Gruppe Sechs method is the easiest as it will allow you to walk into the vault without any gun fire at all (unless your teammates are idiots and be where they are not suppose to or pull out their *beep* guns for no apparent reason), thus this disguise method is more so suggested as compared to the rest. The other disguises however, require you to carry out stealth operation once you get down to the vault level. The stealth operation would follow the same rules as the Sneaky and Silent Finale: patient. However, it is very important to note that this time your guns are not silenced and you do not have stun guns, meaning that you actually have to avoid the cameras and walk up right to the guards' faces in silence and give them a knuckle sandwich or a pistol whip...... in silence. Now this stealth mission I've only been able to successfully carry out once, trying with another friend for 4~5 hours..... Sooooo if you really want the challenge, this method is perfect for you :D
- Aggressive: This method is by far the easiest, just walk in there gun blazing and killing everything on your way to the vault. It is highly suggested, however, to have at least 3 people in the group. The third person can provide cover fire while the other 2 attempt to swipe their cards at the same time while failing to over and over again until the third person dies. It is also highly advice that when choosing this method, choose a better gunman and complete the optional advance armor preparation, as the gun you get matters quite a little and the armor will significantly reduce your damage taken.

In The Vault: (regardless of which method you choose, I would suggest getting the best hacker you can get, as it directly affects the revenue you get in there)
- S&s and Big Con: If you've made it into the vault without alerting the guards, CONGRATULATION! You should have more than 3 minutes to clean the cash out if you chose the best hacker. The game at this point will tell us to get out of the vault before the gas hits to further avoid alerting the guards on your way out. This supposedly save you the trouble of blasting your way out. The problem is that of the 10x times I've completed the heist this way, even if I successfully get out of the vault with 30 seconds remaining, I can't seem to avoid having to shoot my way out at all. However, there are still some suggestions I can give along with the Aggressive Method should the stealth missions fail.
- Aggressive and Failed Stealth: With the best hacker chosen, you should have a little more than 2 minutes to clean everything out. To maximize your payout, method differentiates slightly:
Cash with 2 people > 1 person grab the 2 stacks of cash in the main area, while the other person hack the keypads straight ahead that allow access to stacks D, E and F. Often times you only need to unlock 2 doors to gain access to all 3 stacks, and with 2 people you should be able to get all 5 stacks if done correctly.
Cash with 3 people > follow above, but this time the third person hack the keypads on the right that allow access to stacks G and H. Depends on luck, you may only need to hack 1 keypad in order to gain access to the 2 stacks of cash.
Cash with 4 people > 1 person grab the 2 stacks of cash in the main area, and the best hacker go for the keypads straight ahead, the following to the right, while the least competent attempt the left.
There is another type of loot that I've encountered: the Artwork. Let me start this by saying that if you loot is art, congratulation, as it will provide more loot (if done correctly) as compared to the cash loot, as you don't have to spam left click to collect the loot that each takes about 30~40 sec. If Artwork is your loot, be sure to complete the optional drill preparation as it will land you higher payouts.
Art with 2 people > Follow the cash with 2 people method. However this time you should have extra time on hand if everything is done correctly. There are then 2 ways to further increase your payouts. One is both players start drilling the safety deposit boxes location inside the vault, they may or may not contain additional cash bags. Another way is for 1 person to start the drilling while the other attempt to hack additional keypads to gain access to at least 1 more painting in order to net a much higher payout.
Art with 3 people > Follow the cash with 3 people method plus the art with 2 people method, with the addition that the third person can help drilling as well.
Art with 4 people > Follow the cash with 4 people method, but this time there should be sufficient time to unlock all the keypads. In this method, 2 players should move towards the unlocked keypads straight ahead and drill, the third to the right unlock and the last to the left unlock.
*** prioritize hacking the keypads straight ahead first, then the right, and finally the left. As they provide 3 loots, 2 loots, and 1 loot respectively.
*** Do keep in mind however, if you've never completed the hack before and don't want to try/ don't think you can hack them in time, help the hackers collect the unlocked loots instead of trying to hack it or roam around doing nothing like an idiot, so they can continue hacking what has not been hacked.
*** Be sure to leave the vault when the timer hits 0, you will start taking damage from the nerve gas and you will still need time to unlock the door to the man trap again (need two person to swipe the card at the same time again). If in the off chance that you don't unlock it in time, you will still die from the nerve gas. To be safe, some people choose to leave the vault at the 10 second mark.

On your way up and out:
Considering that I have not been able to leave the casino in peace and silence successfully, I will only give some advice to the gun blazing method. Take your *beep* cover when you're low.
There are 2 bugs here that will occur depending on the finale.
  1. In the Big Con method, you were given the option to choose your exit disguise. This disguise is nowhere to be found albeit Lester told you that it will either be in the laundry room or the waste disposable room. Don't be and idiot and waste spend time looking for it even if you've completed it.
  2. In the Aggressive method, there will be a notification telling you that your original set of weapons can be seen as the an icon in the minimap and you can collect it to use. Neither does this exist.
Now the 2 bugs here, I've tried killing everything and looks everywhere to no avail, so if I'm missing something, please tell me what I've done wrong so I can correct this section.

The Escape:
This part should be rather straight forward, shoot anything that stands in between you and your getaway car. Be careful when driving away, however, as popped tires will affect the performance of your getaway car. Purchasing the decoy can be helpful, and for god's sake do not use the terrace exit. There's no helicopter (the clean getaway ride gives you additional getaway car midway to the buyer) and you have to parachute down, there is a high probability here that you will get shot either until the last live or worse, death, whilst parachuting down.

Some addition suggestion:
  1. The choice of gun to get: It doesn't matter as much for the S&s and Big Con, but I would suggest getting rifles for Aggressive method, as you have no choice but to shoot through everything. I wouldn't suggest getting any shotguns at all, because while they might be helpful in the casino, it will suck once you are escaping out in the open, as all enemies are rather far away with a pretty decent accuracy.
  2. The choice of car: Not sure if it is a bug, none of the cars I've tried provide any bulletproof tires. Therefore I would not choose the driver with the 10% cut (unless you want some discounts on the vehicles), as all of them has gigantic tires, making them easy marks for pursuing cops to pop. They are, however, All Terrain Vehicles, which are supposedly good, but again, with non bullet proof tires at the size of a building :/ .Some cars have better control/traction as compared to others, but this is more of a personal preference. I personally would not choose any muscle cars as once they lose even one of their tire I would suck at them, but my friend has a much better control on them as compared to the sedans.
  3. The choice of hacker: Always choose the best hacker, as this will affect the time you get in the vault.
  4. On the way to and out from the vault, there is no time constraint so take as much time as possible. There is, however, limited number of attempt of hacking. So be sure to take your time and not mess up too many times.
  5. Optional preparations:

Like any other previous title patches, this one came with numerous bugs as well. Needless to say that some of them greatly affects the game play, but I do very much enjoy this update. No doubt the pay is low, but the challenge it provides, in my opinions, is much higher than any previous heists, making it more fun to play with (and even more so if they fix the *beep* bugs).

This simple guide, again, is only based on my own experience and my personal opinion. Thus if anybody finds anything wrong/ hasany suggestions for me to improve, please feel free to let me know, and I will correct the guide as soon as I have time.

Golden Grin Casino text-based stealth guide.

So I finished DW earlier and can pretty much do it ~50-60% of the time, so I feel it's a fair time to post a guide for others that will hopefully help, seeing as none have been posted. I think this heist is best with 2 active players stealthing, one for the back-room tasks and one for the main tasks. Other players can definitely help in civvie mode. Of the 2 players, one will take the lead and the other will do the locker room/managers office/and eventually vault (I'll get to that).
All directions I'll use are relative to your spawn. Right means the right side that you are looking at (VIP room), left is the opposite side.
Asset wise, you do not need any of the drill perks. The spotters inside the casino seem broken, so don't waste points. Instead buy Annie, unlocked doors, disable metal detectors, and anything else that seems useful in stealth. You have more points than you need, so it's not really a problem. Why buy Annie you ask? She makes the pit boss always spawn in the VIP bar room. The VIP room is on the right side of the hotel when you first enter.
Skill wise, I recommend aced camera loop, aced lock picking, clovers deck, and the body bag deployable. ECMs help slightly, but bodybags far more if you get lucky and fuck up just enough to save it.
The first task you have is to grab your gear and make it into the hotel. I highly advise you to encourage the newer players to NOT gear up. Also, don't bother with picking up the sleeping gas yet, but that's preference to make it safer. So DO NOT IMMEDIATELY MASK UP. It might add another trip to the guitar, but odds are you'll be there anyways and it'll reduce the number of trips you make. Players who are bad at stealth DONT need their gear until later and DEFINITELY should not mask up, the flip side is without their gear they cant quickly mask and help with bodybags and cleanup. When you're in "civvie mode," guards and cams can't spot you PERIOD. In casing mode, you can still be spotted. Civvie mode is useful on this map - people in civie mode can spot clear paths for you, check bars for alcohol, etc.,
So once you have your gear, if you're the lead stealther familiarize yourself with the two civilian spawns you'll be grabbing a keycard off of later. Near their slot machine, is a blue, red, pink, or green bottle of alcohol. The white civilian always seems to be on the right side, the purple on the left side. Note the colour of their beverages. Next, check 2 bars. There seems to be 3 bars total - one in the pool area, one on the 2nd floor "terrace", and one in the VIP room. The 2nd floor bar spawns 2 alcohol colours, the others one. Note what colour they are - it'll help you later - otherwise you can have your "civvie teammate" track it down for you. If you know the two possible alcohol colours of the purple/white civilian, it REALLY HELPS so you don't need to check yourself.
After doing that, run to the back area where the server is. Your task at this point should be to "locate the blueprints." After a few playthroughs, I discovered that there is NOT a third guard patrolling the back area. Just the TWO that roam on the left and right side of the back area. I highly recommend killing both guards. On OVK difficulty, you can shoot the cams out without any future problems (or guards coming to check). This allows you much more freedom and will help later when moving the bags. At the very least, kill the guard on the RIGHT SIDE (but dont shoot the cams if you don't kill both). You'll use 2 pagers, but there really is only the need for 4 on the map. If you kill both and shoot cams, do not shoot the cams overlooking the game floor.
So, now the back area should be clear. At this point, it's a good time to explain the entire role of the the secondary stealther. Once the guards are down, immediately pick the lock on the managers door. In the back of the office, there is a painting with a safe behind it. Inside the safe, is a briefcase with 1 of the 3 vault numbers. Note the colour and number. The second task is the locker room. You might be able to get by with not killing the guard by hiding in the shower, but it's not a guarantee. Pick the lockers, find the second vault key. You're done.
The primary stealther should hit the archives. On OVK difficulty, feel free to shoot ALL CAMS and drop the civvie. There are a few areas you can do-so on DW. The cams spawn in the same place every time, so just figure out where you can kill the civie on DW. Camera loop is essential here for 2-3 of the archives. Search them, then run to the server room. Fax the documents (have to press it twice), then grab the USB shaped like a chip.
Next comes the 2nd hardest part of the heist. You need to make it to the front "reception desk." Use the RIGHT SIDE of the casino. It's much easier than the left IMO. Get to the area the guard was previously patrolling and look on the left and right side of the slots. Take your time, this is the highest rate of fail of the mission.
When it's clear, make a run for it. No, don't crouch walk. RUN. If you see someone that might give you problems, run into the bathroom. There's a window you can pick that puts you in a much clearer area. If you take the alternate route, run past the VIP room doorway around to the lobby (this part of the building is shaped like an L). Guards spawn here, so be careful - on DW this is a bit harder to do. If the guitar case is on this side, take the opportunity to grab the sleeping gas - you should use the pre-planning asset to place it on the right side of the building anyways.
Make your way through the lobby or run directly to reception. Once you're in, it's a safish spot on the map. No one patrols this area, so take your time again. Find the computer, wait for it, and pick up the USB. You'll have to make it all the way back to the back area now. Yay. Loop the camera - it'll help you make a cleaner escape. Also, watch the fucking staircase. That got me quite a few times. Make sure no one is coming down when you leave! You can use the lobby/outside once again if you'd prefer - it's generally safer. Also, I recommend hitting the VIP room at this time to pick the last vault code up from the briefcase - It's on the bar. There's one wanderer here that can cause you trouble. If you alert everyone, quickly shoot the 2 cams in the room, tie or kill everyone, bag them or move them behind the bar, and problem solved. If you're not sure if the wanderer is in the room, wait to see if she comes around.
Run back to the server room again. Use the computer and the soon-to-be-victim of the hotel room you're trying to get in to use the sleeping gas on control will appear. Your task is to steal his keycard. If he's in the white shirt, he's on the right side, purple on the left.
Either go to the slot machine he's on yourself, or have a civvie do it. You need to know his alcohol bottle's colour (which if you listened to me earlier, you should know). Then, go to the bar it's at. If it's the upstairs bar, USE THE STAIRS OUTSIDE, dont try to do it inside. A civvie can make sure the path is clear if you're worried.
Next grab the alcohol and make it to the bathroom. Use the outside vs. inside and it's a lot easier. From the bathroom, peek out the door to see what's near. The civvie teammate once again really helps here. If it's the right civilian, make sure the guard isn't near the outside staircase. Sometimes the civvie goes here instead of the bathroom. You should have 1-2 pagers left, but ideally you don't want to waste one here. Then use the alcohol on the drink so the civvie goes outside or to the bathroom. On the right side, if you're in the bathroom, you can watch him go outside through the window. He'll be in a fairly convenient spot to drop him. WATCH OUT where you shoot the civilian. On the left side, he goes through the bathroom and out the door to the outside. This is problematic because a camera is right above that door and will see him if he dies there. You can't shoot these cameras as guards will possibly spot them, so the second he walks in the bathroom kill em.
Now grab his keycard, bag him, and throw him into a stall. Now, there are two sets of rooms. 100-105 or 150-155 I believe. Ones on the front of the hotel, one is back. You can use the stairs outside to get to the second floor vs. the stairs inside. Have your civvie check what side of the hotel the rooms on.
Run there. Sometimes a guard is patrolling so watch out and don't kill cams. Open the room, pump the gas in.. and if you want to play it safe JUST STAY THERE! You'll have to make it to the van eventually, but if you don't trigger the alarm it's an autowin. Saw too many people thinking they'd be a hero and go help loot the vault fuck stuff up.
So.. your secondary stealther was the one in the back area. He should still be here. Have him open the security room to find sleeping guards. The other two civvies can grab their gear finally, not mask up, and make it to the vault. Use the computer in security and get ready to input your code on the keypad. Bain will say it for you, but I recommend keeping the colonumbers just in case I didn't notice something the one time I input the code and got lucky.
Next youll see a door that can be drilled. Start drilling it. There are LASERS like on go bank, except these follow a pattern. DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THE LASERS UNTIL ALL MONEY IS LOADED INTO THE VAN!
Grab all the loot, use the elevator (make sure it's at the bottom, not top first), and feel free to throw bags wherever you want. The guards and cams should be down, so you shouldn't have problems.
When and only when that's done, have someone do the lasers. It follows a pattern, so just learn the pattern and easy. Grab Pandoras box. Now DO NOT try to do the lasers a second time. Throw the loot out, let your team load the van, then and only then should you attempt to leave. If you mess the lasers up, youll at least have a quick escape. Otherwise, you need to haul the box (weighed like gold) to the spawn and not the van. At this point, the primary stealther can leave the hotel room and make his way to the escape. Feel free to ecm if you'd like.
Also, kill Elvis for the achieve at this time. :)
That's all. I think it covers everything.
TLDR; Don't mask until you need to, note the 2 possible alcohol colours, note what alcohol is at the VIP bar and top floor terrace bar, kill 2 guards in back, get vault code from locker room/behind painting, use right NOT left side of the casino, get vault code from VIP room, use outside/bathroom window/outside stairs not inside for higher rate of success, stay in hotel room, loot the box last, kill Elvis.

GGC and the Overdrill

The Overdrill Exists.
I think we already have the "overdrill" within the game. My speculation is that the BFD itself IS the "overdrill", and the spot we are drilling from is incorrect. As the vault metal is the wrong colour. (Disproved by this point.) Take not that the Private is written in red and not white - this can be seen in the back areas of the GGC. This implies we are drilling and planting C4 in the wrong location.
I've also paid attention, during GenMcB's stealth run on DW - one can see the loot room looks identical to the one seen in the trailer at the end.
For comparison:
GenMcB Room: https://youtu.be/wHY8dktUWa0?t=14m58s
Trailer: https://youtu.be/yJieyOGppM0?t=1m35s
So - we are drilling the wrong vault entirely because as Bain states: The Dentist is very unhappy - implying we found a fake.
Now what?
The Guide of Bain has similarities that appear within the GGC.
1) Codex Raptus is the "Loot".
It is resembling the Dentist's loot, but not accurately. I've also taken note that the GGC is at night, and the page also is at night. So - the castle must be the GGC.
EDIT: A Latin translation of Code Raptus means:
Codex- Latin caudex for "trunk of a tree" or block of wood, book; Raptus- Raptus is the Latin for "seized", from rapere "to seize"
This is an implication of stealing something.
2) Notice the balloon in The Criminal Net-Work.
We see a blimp in GGC. While nobody is piloting it - something is making it move over the castle.
3) The Dentist's loot resembles the chest burning in Strategies of the Successful Heist.
We know for a fact that The Dentist has disdain for the correct normal way of completing GGC. So we've got the wrong chest. (Notice the criminal is looking at the wrong direction.)
4) Tools of the Trade.
Tools of the trade has several parts - namely:
Inner Wheel:
Congelation (twelve o'clock) - an increase in viscosity. A liquid - perhaps the one used for the BFD? (Mercury - the fluid connection between the High and the Low. We know the blimp is High and the Vault is Low. )
Salt (nine o'clock position) - base matter of alchemy - but could be the base of the drill? This could be a circle - and partially resemble platinum or the sun.
Sulphur (three o'clock postion) - the omnipresent spirit of life. (Electricity?) However, this may relate better to the Grinder perk deck.
Multiplication (six o'clock position) - this one is very much wrong - as it is the only symbol that does not match perfectly.
What appears to be a bow - or winch as it is being hung from a tall "arrow"
The cylinder - or what looks like the metal plating from GGCs vault once the drill has finished. Not sure of the details on the piercing - but I will find the connection.
The gravestone - implying that a crew member must be dead - see 7.
Sun and the Moon - both appear to be looking - so could be a relation to "let them watch".
5) Lady Justice, the three stars and the "IV"
This is the only loose end I can properly think of. We see other Roman numerics elsewhere, the Jewelery store does have one, and so does Diamond store, if I remember correctly.
6) The Alchemist
This is the tricky part - because I've seen numbers within the GGC, but in four distinct places: The Vault keypad, and the three suitcases containing a number during stealth and loud for the armory. However, the dice possible refers to "craps". As the Dentist said: The Golden Grin Casino has more than just cards and craps. Craps is played with dice.
7) "Mendax"
Like with the gravestone, death symbolises that a crew member must be in police custody.
The chessboard is located within the GGC. It's use on the other hand, is not quite clear.
Mendax itself refers to deceit, lying, untruthful, false feigned, not real. Likewise, the loot may be Mendax.
The timer implies we are out of time: much like the Overdrill: you had to wait until the timer completed. Maybe the BFD has to complete or another timelock must complete?
Horseshoe - often associated with luck - but in this case: it's Lady Luck, which is often known as the one playing the table at a casino.
8) The shadow and sword in the ground.
The man depicted looks like he is following instructions - much like the ones used for the original Overdrill, while the background indicates that he has successfully heisted. However, the start of the GGC, the stealth option allows for items placed elsewhere - allowing you to be un-noticed by guards and cameras. (Note: not sure if guards notice you when close up without equipment.)
The sword itself refers to the equipment.
9) Prisoner's Escape
The prisoner appears to know his escape - so a teammate must be freed from Police custody.
The prisoner also has numbers on the walls - these may refer to the codes for the vault - or something else.
Notes: These are my personal theories - because not all of them connect properly. I will note that the outside of the Tools of the Trade ring is strange. This is because I cannot find those symbols even with my master of using search engines.
tl;dr
The Golden Grin Casino is the most likely place where the BFD should be bolted to another place within the casino to find the hidden vault - as stated by The Dentist himself. Positioning might be key, as seen with Mendax's chess board.
