I bought in for a 100 yesterday and immediately got sucked out on the river. I had two pair Js and 5s on the flop. He rivers a better 2 pair. After that I was basically out until I got all in bad with pocket 9s on the river when the guy caught trip 7s. Should I buy in for more like 150? I play cash games every week, usually just20-40 bucks and online for the past year playing 90person KOs and cash and rush. UPDATE - bought in for $119 tonight after paying a dollar for tums. I played tight aggressive and got up to 260...I covered my losses from last night and was happy. I decided to continue since I felt the table was weak. Had one hiccup where my straight was beat by quad 10 and was one card away from the bad beat straight flush against quads. Down to 160 I keep my head and my tight play and make it to 460...I text my coworkers who are playing slots where I am at. They come to the poker room and tell me LETS GO! I decide to play one more round and cash out at $512 ...the area code for Austin, Texas where I am from. I decide its a good night and cash out.
