My boyfriends exact words in title. So I (29F) and my SO (30M) have been together for 12yrs, have 2 kids, own a home together, basically have a life together. He has had this tight knit friend group that he basically grew up with including “Matt” (40M). Throughout the years these guys have gotten married, had kids and grew up like most people do but Matt doesn’t understand why this has to happen. Even though he has kids of his own and a partner of 17+ yrs, he thinks they should party every weekend and he has absolutely no respect for others. During the past year he has been posting the most inappropriate pictures of his girlfriend on social media for everyone to see, when I say inappropriate I mean nudity, see thru lingerie, bondage (you get the idea). I have brought this to my partners attention many times that it is very inappropriate and I’m going to unfriend him so I don’t have to see it. My SO told me that I “couldn’t” unfriend him because then he would look bad and it would raise questions so I should just scroll past it. But in my opinion I shouldn’t have to be subjected to these photos in the first place so why not remove myself from the situation. 2 days ago, he posted another picture with her ass full out and her hands bonded to her feet. There was no way around seeing it and in my opinion when you’re in a committed relationship, those images stay between the both of you, not for the world to see. I immediately went on snap chat and posted a generic post about wishing I didn’t need FB for work so I could delete it. Matt’s GF immediately snapped me back saying “haha why b/c he’s crazy lmao”. Then Matt messaged my SO asking “why would I delete FB”. Basically knowing full well these pictures bother me and trying to raise an issue. My SO (who in my opinion values how he looks to Matt more than me) started screaming at me in front of our two kids that I just love to start drama, why can’t I just keep my mouth shut and now he has to clean up my mess so he doesn’t look bad. Well after that we discussed everything and my SO still doesn’t see my point of view and ended up going to Matt’s house last night to play poker. During that time, Matt posted another inappropriate picture of his GF and his GF posted a picture on snap of poker chips knowing full well it would get under my skin. In my opinion they are doing this on purpose, so I “Unfollowed” Matt per someone’s suggestion and I want to unfriend his girlfriend on snap but by doing so, I am causing more drama for my SO according to him.
So AITA for posting that snap and creating this drama and causing more drama by unfriending these people? I feel like I’m going crazy here and I can’t wrap my head around it.
Wanted to add: Matt’s GF and I were best friends until 2020 happened, then some true colors came out and I removed myself from the friendship indirectly.

I started my gambling career exclusively in private games. If the person running the game doesn't like you, you don't get invited back. I learned this lesson very quickly.
I am going to share some of my ideas to be a good poker player and increase your chances of getting invited back to good games, and I hope some of y'all will share your ideas.

1. Never berate other players for their play (and certainly never berate a dealer).
2. If someone asks you what you think of their play, give your honest opinion in a nice manner. People will play with stronger players so they can learn from them.
3. Do not talk while other players are playing post-flop. It disrupts people's ability to think. And when you are in a hand, do not talk to your opponent unless they talk to you first.
4. If someone is steaming or tilting at the table, don't say anything. Leave them alone. We've all been there.
5. If an inexperienced player breaks the rules of poker etiquette, don't take it personally. Brush it off. Don't get upset.
6. Avoid any shady movements. Don't reach for chips unless betting. Use clear, concise language.
7. Keep chips and cards neat and visible so people know how much you are playing with and can see you are in the hand.
8. Don't get involved in disputes that have nothing to do with you.
9. If a decision needs to be made and it is EV neutral, let the other player choose (running it multiple times etc)
10. You don't have to socialize, but a nice disposition goes a long way :)

If I’m being completely honest, Twisted Fate is probably the hardest time I’ve had trying to figure one of these builds and probably the least confident I’ve been on one, but mama didn’t raise no bitch and I’m shooting my shot.

    • The best I could come up with was Eldritch Blast to flavor as a consistent magic card attack and due to the simplicity of TF’s basic spells, we can take the Eldritch Invocations: Lance of Lethargy to simulate red card, and Agonizing blast to make sure that our shifty shenanigans dont kneecap our damage. Also at level 11, Our eldritch blast can be cast 3 times to replicate Wild Card. Besides that, Warlock doesn’t have access to Teleport (the semiglobal jump part of our ult), Sorcerer doesn’t have Scrying (the vision part of our ult). Since we need a level 7 and level 5 spell from different classes but also need to play up stats important to the character, Bard with a slight Warlock dip seemed like a decent compromise. Bard has access to both spells, a good chunk of whatever they want and Power Word Stun… let me tell you getting Gold Card specifically is the most difficult part of his kit because of how high the bar to entry on Stunning is for non-monks (mostly 8th level spells). I swear if it wasnt for 5th and 7th spell level requirements though, TF would’ve been an Arcane Trickster 100%.
    • With that out of the way… Whisper Bards further fit the Charlatan aesthetic. Another big problem for sorc and warlock was that almost no subclass in either fit TF’s usual MO. Whisper Bards however use the positive connotation of bards to slip in, get important info and use it against people. It’s a way to get an upper hand, and “Cheater is just a fancy word for winner.”

WHAT WOULD YOUR TOTEM BE?
:My totem would be a specific coin. Although, Arthur explains that a coin would be too easy to copy/guess, mine is a 1923 Peace silver dollar with a chip above the eagle from when i dropped it while riding the train from Sears Tower after work. If I am dreaming, the coin will always land standing up on its edge after I flip or drop it. The coin will also never topple when I spin it and will stop on its edge like Cobb’s top.
~ Dom Cobb's totem is a spinning tractricoid top that originally belonged to Mal. Should he spin the top and it topples over, he is awake; if it continues to spin, then he is still dreaming. Arthur's totem is a weighted red die. The purpose of the loaded die is to make one side heavier than the rest; therefore when rolled the heavy side will flip down and only the opposite side can face up. Should the upright side of the die be different than the original, he will know he is dreaming. Ariadne's totem is a slightly hollowed-out golden bishop chess piece. She deliberately hollows it out to alter its weight and center of gravity, so that only she can know the exact weight and feel of her totem. Eames' totem is implied to be a red casino poker chip. The use of the poker chip is not entirely clear in the movie; however, it is thought that the chip will multiply in a dream when he rubs his fingers against it. ~

I'm looking for someone to design a logo for my personal poker room. It's a logo that will adorn my table, and probably playing chips. I'd like it centered around the letter D. I like oil derricks, and it would be cool if that could be worked in. I don't need any overt pokegambling aspects to be included. Hey all,
My fiance and I recent got *really* into Nerf (and off-brand "Nerf"). Around a year ago, we were playing with our nephews (4 and 5 y.o.) who have a bunch of blasters, and when my brother-in-law told me that they have basically standardized the dart size for most blasters, it piqued my interest. Also, I thought the bolt action on the Adventure Force Alpha Rogue was really cool, and given that they were super cheap, I went out and bought two of them for my fiance and I to play with.
Fast-forward to this Christmas when my fiance got us the Disruptor twin pack. I was so impressed with them that I decided to see what Nerf reviewers on YouTube would think. That very quickly exposed me to a variety of blasters that I was interested in. Now, through a combination of driving (sometimes up to an hour away) around to stores and sellers found on craigslist/Facebook Marketplace, we have amassed over 50 blasters that shoot darts, mega darts, discs, and rounds. I love them all. The only thing I've been avoiding is battery-operated blasters (I'll explain if anyone cares to know why).
We reached a point fairly early on where I decided I had to *do* something with these things aside from buying them exclusively to play in our relatively small living space. So, I came up with a some rules (many, I'm sure, are widely used already) and plans to host Nerf games once this whole pandemic thing is well-enough under control that it would be safe to do so.
Who Will Be Playing
I created a private FB group and invited our personal friends and family, and I'll encourage them to invite people provided we don't exceed our capacity (TBD, but I have a rough idea).
Where We Will Play
This is probably the trickiest part. The two local rec centres will not be available; one does not do private rentals, and the other requires cost-prohibitive insurance coverage. However, there are a number of "halls" that are possibilities. I spoke to the person who does booking for one of these places, and she thought it sounded like a great idea, and probably workable at her location. I also just learned that schools will rent out their gymnasiums, but I'm not sure what limitations or requirements there might be. I happen to work at an elementary school, so I might be able to work something out if I talk to to principal. This thing won't be happening for a while, so I'm not too concerned about nailing this down now. I'm just happy to know that there are local options. I do not want to play outdoors, mostly because I'd like to be able to collect as much ammo as possible, and also not have to worry about weather.
What Rules We Will Play With
This is where it gets a little weird. I have a few different ideas, but I'm most interested in one: Pooled Health games. I've been fortunate enough to run a few games like this with the kids at the after-school daycare program I work at, and it's been a blast, even though we're limited to using the small gym. It works like this: Each team must stay on their side of the gym (like dodgeball, but I split the gym longways due to the blasters being relatively weak (the one's I bring to daycare). At the back wall of each side is a pile of poker chips (red team and blue team). When you get tagged, you put a hand up (so nobody shoots you), get a poker chip, bring it to the designated "out" area, then tap on your back wall to re-enter the game. This prevents players from ever having to sit out, which is great for kids because they can be impatient. I'll probably also do "elimination" games where each player keeps a number of poker chips in their pocket, and is "out" when they loose their last one. When I'm able to have my bigger games, I'd like to have either mats or even large cardboard sheets (folded) for cover.
Which Blasters We Will Use
I admit that I'm almost definitely setting my expectations too high for the level of complexity people will tolerate when it comes to game prep, and I'll come up with some simpler rule set at least for the first few times that we play. Still, I can't help but to over-think this and try to find a way to make almost every kind of blaster fit in somehow. Basically, I'd like to use a "shop" system where I'll decide upon a limit for how many "points" can be spent on blasters and ammo. My system is far from perfect, but I want it to be something that can be applied with relative ease to any blaster. A blaster's "cost" is determined by its ammo type, it's "ready to fire" capacity, and its storage capacity. A basic Elite-sized dart is worth one point, mega darts are worth two (getting hit with one counts as two points of damage), discs count as half a point (because they are slow... but I love them), and rounds count as 1.5 (because of their speed), and missiles are five (five points of damage, plus I have a rule with them regarding taking down cover). Any "storage" ammo is calculated by dividing the total point value in half-- a recent modification that I was avoiding, but felt compelled to deal with once we got the Heracles (5 ready, 10 storage) as it would have had the same value as the Roundhouse (15 ready) which doesn't make any sense. Additional ammo can be "purchased" for the storage value. I need to consider that it's unlikely that most other players will be as reckless in their spending on a vast Nerf arsenal as I have been, so they may need to make up points by having an excess of ammo. Also, I'd like to use a variety of blasters, so I don't want to make games strictly "dart", "rival", or "disc", although I do have enough blasters to share with quite a few people. Side note: All of these considerations have been for springers only. I want to allow players to use flywheelers if they want, but I'll need to come up with a way to balance them so that they aren't the only viable blasters.
When I first came up with this system and started using it with my fiance at home, our highest capacity blaster was the X-Shot Crusher (maybe my favourite blaster) which has a 35 dart chain. So, I was setting our max point limit at 40, allowing Crusher users to have a side-arm as the chain is a little cumbersome to reload. Then, about a week ago, we scored a fully-loaded Rival Hades for $50 (CAD), which, according to my system, has a point value of 90-- way above any maximum we've been using. Rather than increasing the maximum, I decided that you can go over the max under two conditions: 1) You only use one blaster, and 2) You take a 1HP penalty for going over, then an addition 1HP penalty for every 10 points that you go over. We've done a few of our living room games like this, and it has felt reasonably fair.
To mirror our living room games, I'm envisioning that each team will have a boxed off (with cardboard walls or mats) corner where spare blasters will be kept. These will be blasters that are part of each player's current "loadout", so players can go back there to swap out as they want or to take ammo from their stockpile. The only limitation is that only one player can go back there at once.
If all of this sounds ridiculous, that's fine. For what it's worth though, I've been slowly patching together an app that will streamline the "shopping" process. My fiance and I have just been using a white board to do the math by hand, referring to a spreadsheet I made on my phone, and it doesn't take too long. Realistically, I'll probably end up telling players to bring whatever they want (stock only), and then I'll divide the teams to make things a fair as possible. It's just fun to come up with this stuff. What do you think? Totally nuts? Any suggestions for tweaking my system? I feel like I'm going a little nuts with this Nerf craze while having very few outlets to get that energy out-- daycare with the kids and 1-on-1 living room games with the fiance is pretty much it. I'm selling my 3D printed BMM nicely nicely dna75c 21700 left handed mod it's a easy 9.5/10 to 10/10 body is in mint condition! It's been very well maintained and taken care of, it's never been taken out of my house, everything on it works perfectly, no flaws at all, I lost the original black faceplate but the one that I have on it is much better anyhow just wanted to mention that! even though it's stated on box mod mafia website as a laft handed mod to me its really ment for a right handed person IMO along with the mod it will come with the black custom faceplate made by Maddox customs wich has the bmm logo and bmm mafia guy ingraved all over it, also included is a matching black and white drip tip and buttons that was custom made by doodads customs as you see in the pictures it's called the bmm poker chip bubble button set! Also included is the original stainless steel buttons that came with the mod and then there are two sets of buttons I purchased from the bmm website, the one set is a juma blue with a matching drip tip, and the second set of buttons is called crown royal in color like a purple, goldish tan color, and comes with a custom matching drip tip as well $265 shipped I have way more invested so I feel this is a great deal!
